Buffalo running the ball well early, and New England just got away with a late hit out of bounds. 
I didn't hear but it looks very very windy

really gotta consider letting Trent go for it on 4th and if no one's open then let Trent punt. He can get 13 I'd bet.It's not ol Randall punting but.....

If they are smart (no guarantee) then they are just trying to survive the 1st quarter. They'll have the wind at their back in the 2nd and 3rd quarters so their best hope is to survive Q1 and make hay in Q2 and Q3 and then hope they've got a big enough lead to survive Q4 (and win the game).

Good point. I just thought of that as the 1st quarter came to an end. Looks like that might have been the case...Just run the clock until the wind is with them.

Gostkowski misses the kick as the goal posts move back and forth about a degree at the pop.
The wind is crazy - both kicks went wide right after starting off left of center. It must be corkscrewing around that stadium.

Looked good to me too...would love to see the angle from underneath the posts as the ball was moving hard right, but still think it would have been close given that it was only a 26 yd attempt.

They need to get out the video of Phil Dawson's amazing kick in the snow/wind last year, against the Bills. The best kick I've ever seen, including Vinatieri's ones in the snow.

Interesting that the Dolphins got to play the Bills indoors in Toronto a couple weeks ago while the Pats get to play in a wind tunnel. Thems the breaks of the schedule, I guess.

Uh, what a sham that was. The refs blew the play dead, as players were scuffling, which prevented a play from being ran, but they still allowed the clock to run out, stealing a FG attempt away from the Bills. What a joke.
