Game Thread W2 - Arizona V Atlanta (1 Viewer)

Seriously, for some good comedy watch this game, these officials are like the NFL's "Z" team.
Seems you have only complained about the ones against Zona, are all the Atl ones 'legit' in your opinion?
There have been 2 on Atlanta, not much to complain about.
3 accepted but a couple plays with multiple fouls. Just seems you are just a super homer crying about the refs. Everything they call on Zona is wrong.
The phantom hold to bring back the kick off return TD, the picture perfect block by Breaston that was called a hold on a long run, the crazy PI on DRC, the shoulder to chest hit that was called a personal foul? You agreed with all those?
Sorry, don't want to be drawn in to a piss fight arguing about calls. Just curious if in your view it has all been against Zona and seems so.

I've given you numerous valid examples, which you can't dispute, I'll await yours.
:towelwave: What's the point? If I call them good, I'm just a homer anyway. I think they have been fine. Envy your provider I guess, they didn't even show a replay here of the kickoff return to see if it was a phantom call. Sorry I even brought it up. Just getting annoyed that every post of yours seemed to be complaining about the refs. Zona is sloppy and is getting called on it. Sounds like they were sloppy last week too.

For ATL homers -- how is Tony Gonzalez generally being used so far this season.

Was OK to see 5 targets last weekend, but the distribution was way skewed to Roddy White. Are we seeing the same thing in this game? Is Gonzo being used to block more often than he is getting out on pass patterns?

Just trying to make sense of his fantasy value this year after a game and a half, versus expectations in preseason.

This game is done. This is why I play FF, so I can find something entertaining about the rest of the day.
No kidding, the Cards look like the bad news bears.
Over/Under on Max Hall starting - Week 8.
Too bad Leinart still isn't on the team, he damn sure couldn't do worse than Anderson.Although today the defense stinks and neither Leinart or Anderson are going to help there.I say start Hall in the 2nd half, this one's over anyways...let's see what he has.

White seems far and away to be Ryan's favorite target right now. I'd say Gonzo is his clear #2 though and hasn't been kept in to block much. Gonzo has taken plenty of attention though and often goes through an area to take defenders with him. If defenses are going to pay that much attention to him, Atlanta will be happy to send a guy in behind him to catch the ball in an open space.

 Thanks for the insight -- makes sense to ue the wiley vet as a decoy -- glad they are actually using him downfield.
