Did you ever tune back in?3rd and 21All out blitz. No offensive line. Eli dumps it to the yard number on the field.Giants are getting punched in the mouth. My sone just woke up from his nap. I'd rather play with him and put the race on. I'm out.
phew. thanx Redwes.. didn't think anyone was going to update this thread.Jacobs runs to the 5 but a hold on giants brings it back. Now 1 and 20 at the 30.Penalty on Carter. Tons of Giants penalties in the game.![]()

How long before the "McNabb can't win the big one" talk starts after his joking around when they were up by 10?
This was more of a general question bro...no need to roll it up into the Philly/Giant thread and have it get buried. I also made mention of the Miami/Pitt game from Week 1...did this get copied and pasted to that official thread also?At the end of regulation, NYGiants complete a pass on the sidelines...the WR gets tackled out of bounds...clock keeps running (which I don't agree with...but I digress)...then the Giants line up and down the ball to stop the clock.However...hold up...the refs review the last play...the one involving the catch and tackle out of bounds...what's the deal here? Why are they able to do this? The next play got off without a whistle...the announcers said the ref was buzzed before the play took place, but he didn't signal and didn't stop the play so how can they go back? i really don't have a problem with it...except for the fact that it smacks in the face of what the NFL was saying about the Miami/Pitt late red flag review. Even though the coach threw the replay flag before the snap of the ball...they told him...oh well...no one saw it...so too late because the next play had already taken place. Can someone explain to me what's the difference here? And why didn't they add some clock...even a few seconds when they reviewed that Giant's catch? Nevermind the coach having to argue to get the play set back to first down.Sidenote: As a personal observation...sometimes it's a bit blatant how many calls the Eagles get during a game/season.
Saw the whole 4th and OT while doing the project my wife dropped on me right after I typed that.Did you ever tune back in?3rd and 21All out blitz. No offensive line. Stallworth was OB.what the hell? can someone explain to me how the giants had a mutual catch that counted for them rather than dawkins, but when the eagles had one in the endzone to stallworth it counted as an incomplete?
The stallworth play was ruled not a catch because they players were ruled out of bounds. The mutual catch did not occur until both players were out of bounds.what the hell? can someone explain to me how the giants had a mutual catch that counted for them rather than dawkins, but when the eagles had one in the endzone to stallworth it counted as an incomplete?

From the silly use of replay column comes Coughlin's review of this play. If it had been overturned it would have been a TD for the Eagles. The shared catch goes to the O. It has for a couple of years now.Stallworth was OB.what the hell? can someone explain to me how the giants had a mutual catch that counted for them rather than dawkins, but when the eagles had one in the endzone to stallworth it counted as an incomplete?o, got it. tyThe stallworth play was ruled not a catch because they players were ruled out of bounds. He has never been able to stay on the field. I think they have always wanted him to be the homerun threat but injuries have really plagued him.The giants also have a ton of other options that limit what any third WR can get. I also just don't see him taking over for Toomer who played great today and while no longer much of deep threat still has great hands and is productive.Carter made a real important catch to get to OT. Why don't they use him more?
