Game Thread W4 - Green Bay V Tampa Bay (1 Viewer)

Finally Jennings gets into the endzone.

Oh...and while it sucks to not have the game on TV...I love the Sprint NFL Mobile...can listen to GB's radio feed anywhere in the house.

That's cool. Up in northern Wisconsin we just get Minnesota.

Well...here in TN...we are getting Minnesota today too.So far, they are being outphysicalled by Tennessee.

Grant looks great. Not that he's posting eye-popping numbers, but he's got his burst back. Wouldn't be surprised to see him break one long

And that my friends is why we should be playing Grant on 99% of the plays... he won't muff a screen pass right into Brooks' hands. Stupid

GB is going to need to make some adjustments at half, because TB has dominated since their TD first drive.
Does not seem like Tampa is dominating while they have the ball. GB seems to be collapsing the pocket on them pretty good.

1st half summary

Good start by Packers, then downhill. Rodgers has looked poor at times. Packer recievers have dropped some very catchable balls, including Jennings. But the blame is shared around - Rogders second int was his fault and he has thrown some bad bad balls

Tampa has looked fair, moving to good. D Line has put good pressure on Rodgers. Griese looks better as the game goes on, replied to the Pack 1st easy TD with a TD and 2 FG.

As a GB fan, Tampa is perhaps not "dominating" but certainly performing better than the Pack
That sounds fair.I just can't look at this game so far and call anyone dominating.Though, their Dline is having their way with the Packer Oline right now.Tauscher and Clifton both making some bad mistakes on penalties and just getting beat.

How's Griese looking?
Ok. He's missed a few open guys. The last INT was not the best pass but Clayton could have caught it. Replay on the INT shows it could have been run back for a TD if A.J. Hawk would have made a block on the return. Instead, Pack goes three-and-out.

Strange playcalling. Graham gets 6 yards on first down and announcers speculate GB defense might be wearing down. But instead of sticking with the power game, the Bucs try to run outside with Dunn and lose three yards. Then a short pass on 3rd down followed by a punt.

Ryan Grant is not good.

It's not the hamstring injury which is causing him to miss holes and fumble.

He sucks, get someone else in there and bench him.

 Yeah...cause Brandon Jackson and his INT was great right? He must just not be good. The helmet hit the ball. You have 0 credibility when it comes to discussing Grant.

Wow. Hovan blows up the play, Brooks lays his helmet on the ball, Grant fumbles, and Phillips snags it and returns it for a TD. GB in trouble.

Bring in Lumpkin, give him some carries can't do any worse then Grant at this point.

That or someone up front needs to learn to freakin block.Everyone has been letting their guy get in the backfield.
I agree that offensive line hasn't looked the greatest either today.

First time watching TB this year:

has the rb carries been this split all year? surprised Dunn getting this many - he hasn't looked bad.

Griese looks OK - good fit for this offense.

Anyone know the pass/run ratio of the Gruden/Gannon Raiders - just wondering..

This is from an LSU fan - how the hell is Clayton still employed?? slow; too big; no separation

4th and one at the 50 and GB punts. If Bucs score GB might regret that.

EDIT: They won't. Griese INT.

you must not watch the games.Every single Packer fan i know has commented how bad Grant looks this year. Quit making excuses for him, he has looked beyond awful.

What a change in momentum. Grant lost yards in two straight plays but then Rodgers somehow finds Jennings in traffic for the long TD. Amazing throw.

This is the first one I have missed. You have been down on Grant since before the season whining about "pedigre".He looked ok against Minny, he looked pretty good when they gave him a chance against Dallas.Oh...and he has been hurt, this is the first week he was not on the report. And he has been getting hit in the backfield.Sorry, I am objective.Grant > Jackson. He does not suck, as you claimed.
