Game Thread W7 - MNF Ravens / Jags (2 Viewers)

lol at saying Lewis has to elevate to bring in the TD pass; it was at his crotch.
He should have stopped running and then jumped to try and catch the ball at it's highest point... I think that's what he's talking about.Far too many pro receivers don't make this basic play and I don't get it.
It didn't seem like the ball was above his numbers anytime it was near him unless you mean he should post him up, like in basketball.
Yep. Just stop running (since it was underthrown) and get ready to go up for the ball.

Add dumb challenges to tonight's list, alongside horrendous QB play, constant fumbling (Jones-Drew), officiating blunders, running into a kicker, catching a batted pass for lost yardage (Flacco, although it was surely instinctive), bad (and late) play calls by the offensive coordinator, and on and on.

On first viewing, at regular speed, I thought he might have stepped out. After one replay, it was obvious he didn't. What were the guys upstairs thinking?

I've caught a couple of games this season. Without trying to start an argument, I think the Ravens need to really take a long look at Flacco and decide if he's the quarterback of the future.

Ray Rice putting on a pass-blocking clinic tonight. He's gotten his QB killed at LEAST twice. AND he gave his team awful field position by fumbling deep in his own territory...

So this game is as bad as the box score looks eh
Yes, but you need to see it to believe it.Most people would think the recent 3rd and 31 was the worst offensive situation the Ravens have faced tonight. But they would be wrong. If you missed it, there was a 3rd and 35 followed by a 4th and 43 in the second quarter.

If the Jags do anything other than run, run, run until the Ravens force them to punt, they are nuts. The one chance Baltimore has to get in this game is an INT or strip-sack for a fumble. Ed Reed is about to get crazy gambling for the game-changing play.

i think it's pretty clear that he's not. not even close.

Probably the most unjust aspect of tonight's game is that one of these teams will get credited with a win.
Although that's unfair to say given how Jacksonville has played on defense. Sure, the Ravens haven't brought even their D game of offense, but give credit where it's due to the Jaguars defense.
