Game Thread - Wildcard - Carolina V NY Giants (1 Viewer)

Another blown call.
 Sure on Super Slow Motion it's easy to tell that was a fumble.

Dang Refs need to adjust their Superman Googles so they can slow down the play as it happens.
I understand that it is a lot easier to tell on a replay when you can carefully watch the play, but that ball was coming out way before his knee hit the ground and the replay showed a ref looking right at the play. To miss that is bad.

No challenge on the Goings fumble?
down by contact, unchallengable
The top rule I'd like to see something done about - this "down by contact" is weak. Not sure what the change I suggest is, but something should be done. And 'letting the play continue' and saying a challenge can fix an injustice - also weak. Lost timeouts and challenges can haunt you.

Be sure to get back to us when you have some idea on how to fix it

fumble, Carolina gets another break
Shockey's non-fumble benefitted Carolina?
Are you an idiot? How could that have benefitted Carolina?
That was a rhetorical question, homer. The obvious point is that it is laughable for you to get mad about that play not going in the Giants favor when on their previous possession, the same thing happened on Shockey's catch.BTW, nice throw, Eli.

That sound you hear is the air coming out of 80,000 Giants fans in the Meadowlands.

If Carolina gets 7 here, game over.
There's 6.And how many times do the Panthers need to run the Smith play before teams finally plan for it?

Early shot taken here.IF the Panthers hold on to win and play like this next week.. Hello NFC Championship game.

i think they could change possession without allowing a return on those plays.

So I give this thread about 30 minutes more of this before it becomes the CHI/CAR thread.....By the way - Carolina will be about 4 point dog in Chicago. Not saying it is right, just what it would be.Chicago would only be a 2 pt fav over NY.

Who was complaining that the loss of players on the Giants *defense* was the reason they were losing?

The offense blows.
Ya got me there. They are playing very poorly. :X

Should we start a poll?Wilked contributes something or the Giants score..... which happens first?
