I pretty much always do. If a game is good I'll play it again as a rebel.

I generally play "good", although the line gets blurred. I was wandering last night and saw a deer, then an arrow whizzed by me - I charged the person who shot it, and killed her and her partner. Turns out they were hunters shooting at the deer. Oops. But she shoulda been more careful, I suppose.I'm awaiting my dark brotherhood invitation now

Does every town have a house (or houses) for sale? Can you just kill the owner and take the house? Can you equip them with things like a forge?

In previous Elder Scrolls games, and I'd guess in this one, most of the areas/chests had a timer on them to reset themselves. So if you took someone's house and put all of your stuff in their dresser, you may come home one day to find that all your worldly possessions have been exchanged for a sweater and felt hat. In the houses you bought, things put in containers would be good there indefinitely.

This is why you need to buy a house.I don't find it fun killing people and taking their stuff. You can make money quicker and generally get better stuff by doing dungeons. Just MHO Also, the one time I did it an old lady put a contract on my life and three thugs came to kill me the next time I slept/waited in that city. Not worth the risk.

Strength for animals."Alignment" for NPCs? There are certain visual cues that don't translate to the game. If I am spying down on three NPCs, I should be given some clues as to whether or not they are bandits, soldiers, peasants, ect. I don't really think you can tell until you get right up in there faces.picking nits. Just seems like an easy perk to add. I am fairly sure other RPGs have it.

I did the same thing and picked up a $10 bounty when I told the guard to shove off.

I don't know... As in life, animal size is a pretty good indicator of how much something could #### you up. Bunnies? Roast 'em. Sabre-toothed cat? Proceed with caution. Mastodon? GTFO.

I've killed 3 but there have always been other people around. I wait til they land to attack someone and then blast them from the flank with lightning, usually.

I had just come out of a dungeon and there was an Imperial Courier smack dab in front of me. I chased him down and charred him with a gout of flame. As we were running we caught the attention of a wolf, after I killed the courier and dispatched the wolf a message came up saying that the bounty on me had been eliminated because there were no longer any witnesses.

Similar story here. I stumbled upon a fight between imperial soldiers and bandits outside a camp. I tried to help the imperials, but ended up hitting them with friendly fire, which turned them hostile so I had to kill them. Upon killing the last guy, I was told that my bounty was gone.Lesson: Don't leave witnesses. Words to live by.

NICE!!This was one thing that always bugged me in previous ES games. Happy to see they fixed it.

I haven't seen a dragon since the intro. Level 20 now.

On the other hand, I cleared out an area two nights ago and walked out to get back to sell loot. It would not let me travel due to enemies in the area. I looked all around and couldn't find anything. Well, no wonder, there was a ####### dragon right overhead that proceeded to land about 2 feet away and blast me. Holy-not-cool-at-all random encounter. I lasted longer than I thought I would, but death was inevitable.I had one kill some guys at a bandit camp an then take off - luckily it didn't see me.

And I've had one simply flying overhead for a while over Whiterun.

I'm pretty low level, so I am surprised that I'm seeing them a decent bit and other folks aren't.

Yeah similar thing happened to me. I dumped a bunch of weapons and The Jarl's right hand man stopped me and said it is dangerous to leave weapons lying around and I better not do it again.

Went to some rundown village on this frozen lake and the guards there were aholes. One even called me the Orcish errand boy for the Companions, I sliced him to death with my greatsword and ran away

Read in here that you could east things to understand their properties or something, stop for whatever reason while I was heading through a dungeon was going through my stuff and noticed a laundry list of plant mushroom bugs etc etc. I decide now (while I was of low health she on hostile ) is the moment to learn. I proceed to eat my entire inventory and for good measure washed it down with about six ales. I'm sure I had a lot of cool effects on me, but I'm not sure as to what exactly.

I imagined him pounding huge amounts of shrooms and chugging booze in some random fit of hysteria, the effects were predictable, I bled from the eyes, was resistant to frost, farted a lightning bolt, then was immediately one hit killed.

I went on the cannibal quest with that chick (don't remember the name) from the halls of the dead. Had to kill her fire aranach (sp) because it suprised me and I hit it by accident and it wouldn't stop attacking me. Then I accidently hit her in the middle of a melee and she wouldn't stop so I had to kill her also. At the end under the quest log it showed a big X and said anything I could have gotten from her wasn't available because I had killed her.

The wolf counted as a witness? That is awesome and at the same time.Guess Timmy better get comfortable down in that well because Lassie ain't going for help.
