Thanks. It's going to be all right. Fast mover, not laying down a lot of water. People around my house did a good job clearing their properties of flyaway stuff. Plenty of wind, but it won't be enough to damage property to the point of having to worry about lumber flying around or anything like that. The main effect will be dealing with potential prolonged power loss. Some people won't lose it at all, while others a few blocks away will be out for a few days.

The biggest worry we get from the hurricanes here in NC is the flooding.  I hope Zeta moves on by without causing much damage and power outage.

4.08 - Mick Ronson - Angel No. 9  (Deep Tracks)

Ronson made a pair of solid solo albums in between his stints with Bowie and Ian Hunter.  He's a decent enough singer, often sounding like a poor man's Bowie but Ronno wasn't a songwriter.  Most of the songs are covers including this one which turns up the volume on a song originally done by Pure Prairie League. 

Backed by a band including Mike Garson, Aynsley Dunbar and Trevor Bolder, Ronson in 1975 sounds more like Spiders-era Bowie than the Ziggy did himself at the time.

Per wiki: The song has been compiled, covered and mixed many times and is considered one of the most influential songs in hip hop music culture as well as being popular in early disco clubs such as The Loft.

This one was on my short list.  I listened to the album yesterday on my mid-day walk. :thumbup:

 
I didnt pop into this because I didn't want to make music a priority right now, but I just remembered what's happening Tuesday and realized the grave error I made not joining this distraction.

I figured it was songs that are good to exercise to.  When I was doing physical therapy recently they played rock music in the exercise room. I did the row machine to Led Zeppelin.

Makes sense. I Googled some of the play lists of the channel, and it had mainly modern dance tracks. So I went with a different channel.
