I'm with you on not caring too much for Elvis. Just never got it, won't get it. Besides a few I dig. I can see the appeal of some of them.I only like three Elvis songs, and this is one.

That sucks - really like that guy and the music interest/knowledge he brought. Emerged on the scene recently (may have been someone we knew previously) and he was very candid in another thread about some deep personal issues he was facing.
As mentioned a few times previously, these music threads are the only thing that keeps me from hanging up my involvement on these boards, and otherwise merely reading Faust's updates in the Shark Pool.

This was one of my considerations for that channel, but figured I'd be dipping into this classic rock genre more later on and went with Springsteen/Christmas. Great pick regardless.

Fair warning:
Hurricane Zeta is likely (but not certain) to cause a power outage in my area. Based on past experience, the power outage would likely start today about 12 noon - 3 pm Central Daylight Time. If it goes out, I expect a 12-24 hour outage because repair crews won't go out and work on poles until the storm has totally passed and wind speeds drop below 30 mph -- that won't be earlier than about 9 p.m. CDT.
Anyway. I'll attempt to post my status here via phone in the event of an outage.
