Genrepalooza Presents: FG Radio - Tons of Lithium but very little Chill (1 Viewer)

When I suggested the spring channel, I was thinking more of songs about rain and storms.  Must be my Midwestern background.  But I'm sitting here in the midst of a glorious week of spring weather and feel like I should go "sunny."
I’m leaving the song I most associate with Spring for you.

If it's "Here Comes The Sun," it's already been selected...twice.
Yes. You see I’m kind of dumb when it comes to what’s been drafted and what hasn’t.

but yes, to me that’s the ultimate song of the hope that comes with Spring.

:hifive:   I think it's the ultimate spring song, too.  Speaking of dumb, I was hoping it hadn't been drafted yet, but then checked the sheet and saw it had been...by me.  Someone else also drafted the Richie Havens cover of it.

I put Tripping Balls back in Dayton because I think that's where it was when it was deleted.

New contenders for the next roll unless somebody objects

  1. META-static radio - songs referencing other artists/songs/albums
  2. Beat This -- songs with Beat(s) in the title or lyrics
  3. The Jim and Jack Show: Songs about alcohol and drinking
  4. Chemistry 101 (Songs about drugs)
  5. This is the End -- songs with great endings
  6. This is the Beginning - songs with great intros

It's weird.  That BeeGees pick is nowhere to be found in the thread but round 79 was around the same time as the Holly Bonus Friday.

I hope @Buffaloes is doing OK.  He was really active in the pages I doublechecked but his last board activity is a Shark Pool post on Jan 3.
Saw this when I was going through notifications. Appreciate the thoughts, but I just stopped posting around the holidays and then got out of the habit I guess. I did come in here one day and saw the news about Man of Constant Sorrow and that really bummed me out. 😢

I'm not sure the demolition of Willie's Roadhouse is entirely consistent with dice rolling precedent but it's come up a bunch and Simey and I can just bonus it if necessary.

I'm a little scared to click the link due to the word "Dave" being followed by the word "Matthews," but I love the title's connection to spring.
I actually prefer Dave and Tim to the full Dave Matthews Band, but I know plenty of people who can't handle him in any form.

ETA: A side benefit of the Dave/Tim format is no sax.

Every one of today's categories has been picked at least four times today. We don't often get days like that anymore.

Any word on the brewery job?
No, I had the interview yesterday and I think it went really well but it's now wait and see if I get a call for the final interview.

I have a "virtual interview" tomorrow with Traeger and another company reached out to me and asked me to interview for a position, so I think we're coming to the time where it's been a couple weeks of me putting things out there and starting to get some results. I really want the brewery one though. 🤞
