Used to listen to this quite a lot back in the late aughts. Even saw Wreckless Eric in concert. Yes, he played the "hit." Fun was had by all hundred of us.

I saw Wreckless Eric play a solo show around 2018 or so. I expected him to bash out his old songs on acoustic guitar which he did but he also played some amazing effects-heavy skronk on his electric.

It's the fourth roll for Instrumental Movie Music. Other non-original channels that have been up four times are Hank's Country Rock, Synth Smorg and International No Boogaloo.

I think we should give them five times through (four if the mix is over three hours) before putting them up for possible retirement.

Very cool. I saw him at Cafe Nine in New Haven, CT, where I used to live for a stretch of time. I pretty much hung out there at least once every week, if not twice or thrice. He played with Amy Rigby that tour of his. I do remember more electric than acoustic, but who was I to say at that point, really? It's a vague memory from twelve years or so ago. I remember the club, not so much the show. It was a good, raucous time, though.

Best show I ever saw at Cafe Nine was the Armitage Shanks from England. They were a Billy Childish band, good and properly wasted for the kids. They probably played for about thirty or forty of us and they blistered their set. Lead singer was cool to my friend who was having a bad night, but the dude was cool and was class all around and actually made us laugh for a spell. Positive memories of those guys.

We'll just need to keep in mind that there won't be many retirements for a while, so the retirement tracking post will seem kind of static for a bit.

Prog has reached 3 hours (5, actually) and Storytellers will on its next roll. Oh Canada, All About That Bass and Classic Vinyl might on their next ones. Will probably take 2 more rolls for Turn Down the Lights as those pieces tend to be short. Nothing else is all that close.
