It's like confirmation bias. Works in both directions. The forecast going into the game was wind and rain. Trust me, almost every time they warn about the weather it turns into a high scoring game. It's like a weird reverse lock or something.
Brady is money in the cold. How about the pats-broncos tonight? Are gronk and Vereen still good plays? Seems like they run short to intermediate routes mostly and I think Brady can handle that in the wind
its absolutely freezing outside and only a little breezy. I wouldnt consider benching a single player for this weather. Once again this thread is a waste of everyones timeNew Yorkers who are currently there and not actually in Tucson, sound off on the weather please if you can.
Guessing you've never been there.I'm rolling with Eli. Wind gusts be damned. Plus the wind conditions inside the Meadowlands may not be as bad as outside. I could see some short patterns to Cruz going the distance. The Cowboys pass D is horrific.
The New York guys are ... The guys that play in a dome in Texas? Not so much.yes its windy but this is football weather.these guys are used to it. i wouldnt back off anyone..it should be a game with plenty of fantasy pts to go around.

20 plus mile an hour winds and wind chills in the teens ... this favors the Giants big time.
I think you're just mad about having to chase those trash cans lolI don't know what other NYer's are talking about, but it's WINDY as hell here. I don't know how far they are from the stadium, but I'm 45 minutes like I said and you can hear the wind swirling from outside. Chances are I have to find my stupid trash cans again.
You should have benched your trash cans due to the weather and you wouldn't have this problem.I don't know what other NYer's are talking about, but it's WINDY as hell here. I'm definitely benching your trashcans. And I suppose it's good that the Cowboys and Giants aren't playing in your driveway.I don't know what other NYer's are talking about, but it's WINDY as hell here. Keep in mind that these forecasts are for sustained winds at that speed. If you look at the National Weather Service site, the sustained winds are in this range but they also are forecasting wind gusts for over 40 MPH. Also, when I looked at wunderground, they had winds of 23mph for 4PM today.29 degrees, 11% chance of rain, wind 15 mph (wunderground.com)
Partly cloudy, 30% chance of snow flurries, winds 15-25 mph (vegasinsider.com)
31 degrees, 10% chance of precipitations, winds 23 mph (weather.com)
These forecasts don't impact my lineup decisions. Any others that look worse?

Yeah, but if you can get some "garbage time" points, you can still be good. You guys should absolutely bench my trash cans. They look like a desperation play at best..

So winds are forecasted to diminish later on? If that's the case, Romo stays in the lineup.According to wunderground, and their game specific forecast http://www.wunderground.com/sports/NFL/hometeam/New_York:Giants.html?st=1385313900&MR=1,18 mph winds at 4pm and 10 mph at 8pm.Keep in mind that these forecasts are for sustained winds at that speed. Will there be gusts at times? I think so, but there's a big difference between the conditions now (11:30 am) in New York and the forecast from 4:30 to 7:30 pm
Really, really windy right now. I am about 12 miles from stadium. Windy conditions and wind gusts are for real. Lots of 4th down plays today.False Start said:New Yorkers who are currently there and not actually in Tucson, sound off on the weather please if you can.
Keenum is the other option I'm considering. Is the weather enough of a potential issue to consider another alternative with a more favorable matchup? I assume most of you using this thread don't have much of a plan B. At least that's the impression I get.
