By THE BAKERSFIELD CALIFORNIANThe Kern High School District has confirmed that a school administrator is on leave while the district looks into allegations by North High School cheerleaders that he walked in on them changing clothes in a bathroom and lingered while they scrambled to get dressed.

Parents of some cheerleaders told KERO Channel 23 that an adult male entered a girls' bathroom where the girls were changing clothes to tell them to hurry up and get ready for class, the station reported.

The girls said they tried to cover up and were surprised that the man didn't immediately leave, according to KERO.

High school district spokesman John Teves couldn't be reached for comment Wednesday afternoon.

But he told KERO that the girls' parents were notified of the incident immediately and that the administrator had been placed on paid leave pending the outcome of an investigation.

I have no idea what their official policy is but no way in hell would I do it. I wouldn't even be comfortable yelling through an open doorway into a girls restroom/locker room

Got my offer from Dell. Can't take it I don't think. I need a job but even hitting the sales plan on target I still would barely pay my bills. I would be counting on blowing out my number and making some bonus bucks (which I am confident in doing) but I'm not technically eligible until after my 2nd quarter, so that's 6 months away.

Have a phone interview with a smaller company on Monday and the software company I've been going back and forth with is supposed to be crunching number today (although it's getting a little late to hear from them).

Kind of kicking myself because I had two or three interviews a month ago that paid higher but were much further away so I wasn't as aggressive about them figuring a job at Dell that paid right was a layup. Turns out NOBODY gets hired in to Dell from outside at the number I was expecting, which I have only learned in the last week or so.

I think I stared death in the eyes today.

I was walking back from the Dr's office and wasn't really paying attention to what was in front of me for a moment. This was because something in the front yard of the house I was passing had drawn my attention. As I redirected my focus back to the sidewalk / direction I'm going, about 5 sidewalk squares in front of me is something in my path.

As I'm muttering to myself, 'WTF is that' the something starts to move.

I stop dead in my tracks as the next thing I know I'm staring eye to eye with a hawk who appears pretty pissed off that I'm interrupting its squirrel breakfast . Then the hawk, at most 10 feet in front of me, spreads its wings and just stands there looking at me. This thing was hugegantic. Its wingspan was as wide as the sidewalk. After about 3 seconds of stare-down the hawk took off in my direction. It got about half way to me and veered off to it's left and headed up into the tree behind me.

I think I stood there gaping at the thing like a slackjawed yokel for about 30 seconds

When I started walking I didn't even pass the squirrel because I didn't want the hawk thinking I was a threat to it's grub. I went to the other side of the street.

Finally found this.
