GM's thread about nothing (30 Viewers)

(did I misread that thread topic?)

Oh well, no guts no glory. See y'all around
I didn't know what it was until you posted about it here. Awful.
Agreed. And that's ME saying that.
Think it's gone now. What an awful topic to bring up. How it went 4 pages...I just don't know. Guess Homer, Abe, UH and me are just too prudey for such things.
I think I've reported one post/thread before today. That thread makes it #2. I should've just done that instead of cussing random people, though.

Women are ####### confusing sometimes.

On the plus side I got really ####### hammered, saw a washed up Weezer play at the local casino, and still managed to make some decent money playing cards tonight.

Oats, come to Dallas sometime. We'll have some fun.

What it be, Uni?
:excited:

Morning Uruk. Looks like another successful handoff. :hifive:
:hifive:

I was wondering if there was a way we could get paid for the work done in this thread. Maybe a sort of reality show that just broadcasts the posts (with the links posted used like the asides in Family Guy). We could also have reenactors perform some of the posts - krista's near-riot tonight (with the drunk former champ playing himself) would be especially compelling viewing.

There'd be - what? - 3 or 4 dozen executive producers, so the credits may take longer than the actual show.

Mr. YSR's former boss took in Floyd Mayweather for 2 years in when Floyd's dad went to prison. Former boss flew Mr. YSR to Vegas for a few fights to hang out with Mayweather. Actually true.

Who is this Mr YSR? You've been leading me on this whole time?!?!?

GM> sorry for what you're dealing with regarding your sister. I have a bit of a family ordeal, myself. My SIL (Romo's little sister) has been on pills for the last 5-6 (?) years. It started when she dated - and then married - this guy (second photo). They have a 3-year-old son. She claims that she's clean now, and has since divorced him, but there has been evidence in the last couple of years that made me think she was using.

Things came to a head recently when I took a stand and refused to let her keep our daughter for an afternoon. Mr. YSR was pretty pissed because he thought it was somehow tied in to the hatred I have for his mother. It caused some real issues.

Turns out, my MIL found needles, spoons and Roxies (I had to look this up) about a week ago. Horrible situation, any way you look at it.
:( So sorry GB. :(

Did he challenge him to anything? "Hey Floyd, wanna go a couple rounds?"

Someone gave my daughter a set of "days of the week" panties. I'm justified in burning them, no?
Maybe you'll get Homer in the GMTAN SS this year.

Unless the twist is group sex or empanadas, I'm not interested.
No worries. If no one wants to hear about how a former five-time welterweight champ stealing my cell phone led to a potential knife fight, I'm cool with that.
:coffee:

I started today by Mrs. SLB telling me my younger (32) cousin has some weird genetic abnormality that is developing into cancer everywhere.

The good news is that Mrs. SLB has really been bringing it in the bedroom lately ever since she has started thinking I'm running around.

ATTN ABE: Bowe benched, Steve Smith in. Wilson is supposed to be returning kicks this week, so he should (hopefully) at least net us positive points... unless we want to throw Tate in there.

Yikes. Sorry YRS. Support group?

Took my sons to the local HS football game tonight. Anybody wearing a toga got in free. It was a scene, man. I took a flask with me thinking I might have a chance to mix a small cocktail, but after running into every kid I ever coached over the last 5 years and all their parents, I thought better of having whiskey breath.

So put me in the stone cold sober camp. Also the "out of weed" camp. This "Dr. Greenthumb" I've been using lately is about as reliable as an Astros' relief pitcher. Would love a night of knock out, but have to coach soccer bright and early. Considering my team got clobbered 4-1 last week, I should just get hammered and let Hazel coach the team.
Going to put you in the #### camp

When Mayorga arrived Julio got very worried and told me that he wanted to talk to me, but only when "they all stop looking at me". A while later I thought we were safe and asked what he wanted to tell me, and he said, "You know he is very crazy?" I told him I was aware of that (if I hadn't been before, it didn't take long after meeting him), and that was that.

Everything was swimming along fine. Guy loved us because we were Americans but as he drank he got angrier at various people, including his wife, who showed up for about 20 minutes but left as he kept calling her a ##### and demanding that she leave. Still, things seemed generally OK considering we were among a bunch of Nicaraguans drinking heavily and watching fights.

Between the 10th and 11th rounds, I went to the bathroom, leaving my phone on the table as I had the other approximately 80 billion times I had gone to the bathroom. When I came back, the phone was gone. A bunch of us were looking all over, but with no luck, and I went back to look in the bathroom even though I knew I hadn't taken it there. When I got back, someone told me "Mayorga has your phone, and Andy is trying to get it back but someone has a knife."

Julio and Devin heard this at the same time, and both immediately went to try to help Andy (despite my pleas not to get involved), so I followed as well, and as I did someone handed me my phone and asked if it was mine. We found Andy in the street just screaming at Mayorga, who was crazed and also being backed up by one of his nasty crew. I never saw a knife but everything seemed to be so confusing and went so fast that I really don't know what happened. Luckily it ended with Mayorga backing down and leaving.

We got some of the story, most of which I didn't understand, but apparently Marlon the superhero somehow figured out that it was Mayorga who had taken the phone, but that instead of just leaving with it they put it in someone's car. Julio was calling my phone and Marlon saw it light up in the car. Marlon demanded the keys, which the guys wouldn't give them, but he threatened to call the cops (which would have had NO effect) and then they did and he found my phone on the seat.

Andy's a 47-year-old Canadian former hairdresser/surf dude who recently cut off his ponytail but the ponytail is still implied. Marlon, as you'll have seen in shot video #3, is about a 5' tall lawyer nice guy. But they took on Mayorga and he backed down from them, which makes them awfully cool in my book.

My concern the whole time, of course, was that I had lost the shot videos. :bag:

ETA: None of us saw the last two rounds of the fights. :( But in a poetic twist, in the pool we had, Mayorga would have won as he drew the "Mayweather in a decision" card.
