Great season.Holy crap I was drunk last night. Had a couple Glenfiddich's at dinner with the lady and bought a bottle on the way home and had about 6 more while finishing up season 3 of Mad Men.

I've got it at 50/50. Either he does, or he doesn't. Not all that confusing, IMO.I think there is a 20% chance he scores the first touchdown. I think there is a 20% that it's Seattle offense in some fashion.Wat?1 in 5.Seattle offenseWhat are the odds on Welker to score the first TD?
Thomas
Thomas / Moreno
Welker
Someone else / defense / decker
I think there is a 20% chance it's d Thomas.
Essentially 10% each for Julius and Moreno.
And about 5-10% that the first touchdown is another Denver player like decker or a defensive touchdown.
Doesn't seem all that confusing to me.![]()
Glad things are Oktoberfest, Tanner.

I think I'm taking Seattle +120.Getting a bad feeling about Denver. It started when I saw Otis say he was heavily on Denver.

"Hurry HURRY"Tiffany is making brownies for my sister's SB party. She wants to decorate them with "HUT HUT HIKE". I don't think I can let that happen. My scotch driven suggestion was "Hut Hut, Football Words, Tackle, Pass, Omaha"

Do you have gas? The car should start without an alternator but if the battery does die again it is most likely the alternatorEver since I left my car running for 10 hours, it won't start. We're currently trying to jump it but I'm not feeling much success. The battery died by being run for 10 hours? Is it an alternator? Any car guys please help.
The demise of the wagering thread saddens me.I'm on Denver ML and Denver -2.5. Bet on the OVER 139.5 seconds for the Opera Singer. Bet on Tails. Need 3 more prop bets. Anybody? Wagering thread is too....noisy for me these days.

I've got a source that says it's 20% likely that Welker catches it. Now keep in mind there is no logical explanation to backup that 20%, but still.First TD will be Julius thomasI'm on Denver ML and Denver -2.5. Bet on the OVER 139.5 seconds for the Opera Singer. Abe, is this the job that's not challenging enough? Sounds like you have plenty of challenges. And I'm not even including math in that assessment.
update: the battery is absolutely fine. I was told that since I ran the car for 10 hours straight at Idol, there's a good chance that the engine is flooded. The guys at O'Reilly's auto-parts walked me through some ideas which included the following. 1. Take the spark plugs off the engine and kill the fuel switch, turn the engine on and if it's flooded gas will fly out of the top of the engine.Do you have gas? Yeah, that sucks. Definitely not what I thought you meant when you said not challenging enough.Abe, is this the job that's not challenging enough? Sounds like you have plenty of challenges. And I'm not even including math in that assessment. It's not the challenge of it, its the fact that I'm stuck in the mud so often. I was hired to turbo-charge the sales efforts. I have done that, but the enthusiasm of ownership to increase sales has not been matched by a capacity to handle those sales. For example, I booked a $10k hardware order in October and told the customer they would have the hardware in 4-6 weeks per standard lead time. They are getting the hardware tomorrow because the owner "forgot" to order it for two months despite my repeated requesting (and then begging) for it to get done. When we sign on new contract customers, there is no playbook for how to onboard them so the process is a disaster and usually gets close to costing us the contract. Afterwards I hear, "we'll put together a plan so we do better next time!" but if never changes.
Here's the thing: I'd be 100% cool with these issues as solving problems as they come up is part of working for a small business so long as I was paid for the pain. But my pay is heavily based on commissions and when I spend 5-10 business days a month NOT selling because our guys literally can't do the work, it means that I am missing out on a chance to provide for my family. When our inability to execute costs us customers, it costs me money. I literally work an average of 3-4 hours a day because if I do any more, the weight of new customers and new jobs will cripple our infrastructure. I'm not talking about MOP-level Rainmaking either, just simple B2B sales.
