How long? I am making 6 lbs. today - gonna take 10 hours and got a late start - 11am ...told the family we'll eat some cheese/beef log/crackers for a bigger than usual appetizer around 6 - 6;30 so they don't starve.

How long? I am making 6 lbs. today - gonna take 10 hours and got a late start - 11am ...told the family we'll eat some cheese/beef log/crackers for a bigger than usual appetizer around 6 - 6;30 so they don't starve.

Put it in (giggle) at 9....about 4.5 lbs. I flipped it over and most of it is pretty tender. I will give it some more time or do something else for dinner. Smells great so far.

Italian beef turned out great. I shredded it and strained the juice and put it all back in the crockpot. Delicious and a new addition to the Osaurus recipe arsenal.

I caught it when it aired a week or so ago. It was fantastic. They reference a Carson lecture he was a part of at the University of Nebraska. It's on youtube. If you have an hour and a half and are a fan of Uecker it's worth a watch.

I'm going to cry big man tears when that guy goes.

I got called into jury duty a few months ago for a drug case. 2 questions and I was out of there.

I know I'm just snarky one-liner guy, and I'm a little late to the party, but as a long time anti-Furlean (Furlite?) and being that I'm a bit grumpy that I'm stuck at work at 8 am on a Saturday, I would like to address the issues he raised. First of all, Krista does get plenty of guff around here. She gets teased incessantly about all of the moving and house buying and selling. Don't know how you've missed all that. Not to mention, there was a several page meme some time ago dedicated to the enormity of her lady cave.

Secondly, she has shown an unending amount of kindness, generosity, and support for many people here, unlike the idiotic turd-slingers around here like you and me. And guess what, people tend to respond in positive ways to those attributes. Again, shocking I know.

And of course, as she already addressed, you clearly have some type of inferiority complex toward her. Is it just the money? The fact that a woman is so much more successful than you? Maybe you wish you had found yourself such a successful, independent woman? It's ok to admit it. I personally don't care how well off random internet people are, and as someone whose wife makes a fair amount more than he does, it certainly doesn't bother me to see a successful woman. Maybe turn some of that focus inward and you won't be so miserable. I know that has helped me quite a bit recently.

Well, my back is officially OUT. Can't stand up straight, I am walking with the nimbleness of Tanner's great grandfather, and every time I cough it feels like a hundred angry midgets are stabbing me in the spine.

I'm no licensed expert by any means, but fidelity has funds tailored to the year you an on retiring. I believe they're called "life path" funds.

FWIW, it's the only fund I have in my 401k.

At a very high level, The investments on the fund start out more risk(916) 626-2120y and as you get closer to retirement they get more conservative.

That's pretty standard and how most 529s are run...younger the kid, more aggressive the funds. Rebalances as they age. Get aggressive in this environment... When Sacamano goes to cash, follow suit
