[Oh Yes!]

Two firsts for me today:

#1 I was rubbed down by a cute black chick. Oh good night, it's true, I'm never going back.

#2 It took 40+ years but I finally have a son that likes playing baseball with me in the backyard. He actually asked me. I feel like a wet noodle but it was awesome.

that is fan-freaking-tastic.My 4yo has recently been not only asking me to kick a ball around with him (yes, I'm a soccer player and yeah- I had the exact same weak-in-the-knees reaction when he did for the first time), but also wanting to watch soccer on TV with me too- "I want to be a couple of dudes watching soccer". Who am I to say no? He's a total richard most of the time, but this makes me forgive him for everything.

Dylan is 4 too. He got a trophy for playing this year and brings it every where. Thinks he's the cat's meow. (Batman Guy Voice) Meanwhile, Cal was trying to impress me with his invention of how to turn Dylan's regular bike into an exercise back by putting the training wheel on the concrete drainage thing. pic His plan is to open an exercise clinic. He was even coaching Dylan after we got done to "keep pushing!". Oh yeah, he also had an imaginary green screen that he programmed from his play computer in front of the bike. I asked what was on and he replied "The Weather Channel".

so this is what i have to look forward to/?

They are just two completely different kids. Cal is superior in intellect and Dylan is superior in coordination and athletic skills. Seeing what you get is just part of the "fun".

The movie was pretty awesome. As a huge fan and devoted reader of the books I can say that it was basically totally true to the books with only a handful of minor changes that didn't affect the plot in even the smallest way.

Thanks, GB. I can always use more bacon. Didn't sleep last night because I was so pissed. She's essentially flushing my money down the toilet trying to establish higher living expenses so she can show a higher baseline for spousal support when it all gets finalized. It won't work, but now I'm not sure how we're going to meet our expenses through the end of the year. Normally I would have gone home, gotten drunk and forgotten about it, but I had an early client meeting this morning and it wasn't an option. Worst thing was that I ended up fighting with her in front of my daughter, who absolutely slayed me as I was leaving by telling me that if it would help I could have the money she's been saving. She's 6. Stupid thing is the whole reason I was there was helping her with her yardwork, trying to be a nice guy. While I was there I got an overdraft notice on my phone from the account that I fund that she lives off, which triggered the whole thing. She blew through a month's worth of living expenses in 13 days.All good now, unless I run out of booze.

Felt good to rant. I'm pretty much over it. Spent some time with my daughter this evening and even finished her yardwork, getting ready for my daughter's birthday party on Sunday. It will be nice to be done and not have to worry about her finances and mine.
