GM's thread about nothing (21 Viewers)

I'm sitting Adrian Peterson in favor of Jonathan Stewart. Probably a stupid move, but I just can't shake the though of Webb handing off the ball to a gimpy Peterson.GL to all who are still alive. Funny to see so many college burnouts alive and well in the playoffs.
I can't decide between Felix Jones, Rashard Mendenhall and J. Stewart...

Benched him in my $$league and my opponent in my dynasty league didn't.
:jawdrop: That's some terrible luck. Whom did you bench him in favor of?

Since I only play in my longtime local league, I usually look forward to the first week after I'm eliminated from FF because I can sit back and just enjoy the NFL. But the Cowboys have pretty much made it impossible to enjoy football this year.

At least you had Bevo this year!

Holy ####, if I was a Giants fan I would be absolutely livid right now.

P.S. I tried to get cute and start the Cardinals defense vs. the Panthers this week instead of the Jets. What do the Jets do on the opening kickoff. Run it back. FmL

#### fantasy football.that is all.eta: oh yeah- #### Ray Rice too.
Ray Rice
:goodposting:
40.30 points. I've already beaten my opponent this week with only two of my ten players having played. :pickle:
My dynasty opponent had V Jackson and Rivers already in the bag. And then f-ing Rice. What curdles my girdle is that I ran away with that league this year- had the highest average points for in our league history (9 years) and the highest one game total too. Took Foster in our rookie draft in the 3rd round and picked up Hillis as a FA in the first week. Played the right guys all year. Only to get buzz-sawed when it counts. Which doubly hurts because I sat Rice in my freaking $$ league.

If the 2nd half of the later games goes like the first half, GM has this one in the bag. I'm going to need to be at least even heading into Sunday night and Sanchez, Moreno, and Mendenhall have 41 points to get me there and I need a bit of a lead to feel good about my chances.

Sorry, GBEF. :( Seems like that sort of thing happens a lot, where the person with the blockbuster regular season has their one bad week in the playoffs. On the bright side, you got to use the phrase "curdles my girdle". :(

w00t Mendenhall!!!!!

Also, I just figured out zilla has been cheating DeSean Jackson out of fantasy points all season in Uberleeg.

w00t Sanchez!!!

update: My magic football team is doing good. Boiling down to the fact that I just need the Chi D not to outscore their highest YTD by 50% and I win.

As long as Moreno doesn't come back in the game and go ape ####....I made the bowl game!!!!
Ugh, I could've used some points out of him. Too bad he's still a pansy, just like he was at Georgia.Maybe the :blackdot: can come back to tie the game here.YHTBFKM :loco:

So this became the thread where everyone talks about their fantasy football teams and reminisces on what lightweights/can't hold their drink or smoke in college? Great thread :goodposting:

ftr:

graduated in 4 years with a 3.3 gpa, and partied all 4 years :lmao: ding

B/c I know you all care:

League 1 - down 11 with Cutler and Shane Grahm left. Opponent has Brady :lmao: Thanks for the donut Knowshawn :goodposting:

League 2 - donut from TO and went up against Vick. Lost by 30

League 3 - up by 66 with Grahm and Branch left. Opponent has Green-Ellis

JFC - I got to watch zero football today.

Spent the day in Midwood (that's deep into Brooklyn, El Floppy - you never been). Takes a friggin' hour each way from Midtown.

Double Brit Milah (what's the plural of Bris?), e.g., twin boys. Lesbian couple. Lesbian pedetrician-mohel. Surrounded by bull dykes and octogenarians up from Boca. Finally during the Seudat mitzvah this cute (7 on the Offdee scale) 25ish chick sits down next to me and starts flirting big time. Even better her friend (about an 8) joins the convo. Except then they start stroking each others hair. FML, they're a coupe too.

Mrs. BL kept shooting me daggers every time my hand got near my phone. I knew checking for updates was going to put me in the doghouse for a good week. Finally on the way home (6:30ish) I got to check scores.

LIONS WON A ROAD GAME! Thank you baby Jesus!

Oh, and because you care...think I got Ray Rice'd in one league and Vick'ed in another, but if the Pats score 3-4 points I'll make one championship game.

You didn't get a bathroom break?
:blackdot: Spent most of the day chasing the ankle biter around the house (7 bedroom Victorian clapboard...friggin' maze of rooms on 4 floors).ETA: that probably sounds weird...our co-op is good sized by Manhattan standards (800 sq ft), but tiny compared to the big old beauty we were in today.
