Bahrain is a small island off of Saudi Arabia in the Middle East. I don't know how you haven't heard about it, "the place is kind of a big deal."Actually, the news made a huge stink about a very real issue within the country and then blew it up to 4000x the actual size (for now).I am out here in a supporting role to Navy personnel assigned to assist in Army billets throughout Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, and other countries in the area of operations for Central Command...It is not super secret squirrel type information, but it isn't all facebook/footballguy share type information either. The Army uses thousands of members of the Navy and the Air Force to support their mission in the area and my job is to make sure that the Navy personnel still have support and a connection to the service they belong to. If you look into Individual Augmentees a bit you can get a better picture of what we are doing out here.
GM, I live just down the road from you in real life. I own a house in the one town in the entire State that would never root for the Ducks in public(lived in Eugene for a few years growing up, so I can still sometimes root for them, but it is often painful).
