[General Malaise]

I love to cook more than anything but am feeling really, really uninspired lately. Any of you cookingguys or husbands of cookinggals> can you throw out a good go-to/favorite recipe? It can involve any protein, in any way. Preferably something that is good for leftovers, as it's just the two of us.

ETA: please no masturbation chicken recipes

[*]3 Lbs Italian Sausage Links (I bought half Sweet Basil and half Spicy)

[*]Pre-heat oven to 350. Put the links in a pan with some olive oil drizzled on top.

[*]Bake for 45 minutes.

[*]Cut up in large pieces some red and green bell peppers and an onion (I also added a serano pepper and a red jalapeno, de-seeded).

[*]Pull the sausage out of the oven and cut each link into 3"-4" slices.

[*]Mix in the peppers and the onion and stir around.

[*]Bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes, stirring the peppers and sausage a couple of times along the way.

My wife makes a very simple dish with noodles, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and hamburger meat. Great for left-overs and I like it...but I could probably live on boxed mac-n-cheese, so take it FWIW.

That's my go-to quasi-beef stroganoff recipe.Brown 1 lb of ground beef/venison/etc.DrainStir in 1 cup cream of mushroom w/ garlicBring to slow boil.Add 1 cup sour creamStir on low heat until hot. Do not let it boil.Serve over egg noodles.WA LAEdit> Tecumseh

lol...apparently my wife never got the memo on heating up the soup. Cook the meat and boil the noodles, drain both and mix in a bowl, drop in a can of soup, add sour cream to desired texture, and dinner is served. I do like it like that, but I usually throw it in the microwave for a minute or so.

Okay, well there was a big cornhole planned for Las Vegas next year.....and then the location got switched to Oregon to go sasquatch searching and fishing....then wives started coming along....then there was talk of renting a river in Oregon, and then GM volunteered to rent out Mt Hood to go skiing with Cosjobs.......and then the locale got switched to Seattle.....and then back to Vegas.......and then there was a brewhaha in regard to drinking yards of alcohol and I'm pretty sure Rudnicki and Tanner were going to get into a fist fight, but Tre stepped in and told them to chill......and I think that about catches you up. hth.

Kids were eating with us...I didn't want them TOO hot and I'm under the impression the seeds are the hottest portion of a serano pepper.

Looks nice. Magaws definitely has the Ticket and claims 51 TVs. They also have $2.50 drafts which is what caught my eye. If we want more upscale Scoreboard looks nice.
