So I just opened my front door to unplug my Christmas lights, and to what should my wondering eyes did appear? A
mf'in goat, and his
vicious bodyguard.
wtf?

I could take a similar picture any day of the week.
I live on a horse farm.
What's your deal?
I live in the suburbs, not on a horse farm.I opened my front door and the goat and the dog were standing on my front porch, just staring at me. The dog then started barking, and the goat walked right up to me, sniffed at our fake poinsettia, then turned around and walked away.
I ran in and woke up my wife, because I have freaking livestock on my porch, and then grabbed my phone/camera. When I went back out, they were still there, then on my sidewalk, and then started moving off toward the main road next to my house.
I didn't know what to do, but I didn't want them to get hit by a car, so I grabbed my car keys and went looking for them. I spotted them in the yard of a house down the street, and pulled over about 200 yards farther down the road, where there was a turning lane. As soon as I got out of the car, they both came running toward me, with the dog barking aggressively the whole time.
Still not knowing what to do, I just stood there next to my car, and whenever the goat made a move to cross the road, I shooed him back. The downside to this plan was that every time I advanced toward the goat, the dog got more pissed off. This went on for a good ten minutes. I was really hoping a cop would drive by, but no luck. I finally got to the point where I felt like the dog was becoming a serious threat, so I got back in the car, and drove down the street to where there are two gas stations, hoping that a cop would happen to be at one or the other, but no luck. Then when I went back in the direction of the animals, and my house, the animals were gone. I circled around a couple of times, but couldn't find them.
It was just so strange how they were clearly travelling together and how protective the dog was of this goat. Overall, just a bizarre experience.
