So I had my first interview for this Chicago job today. The interviewer flew down from Chicago this morning, met me for lunch for about 2-1/2 hours, and then flew back to Chicago. It went extremely well, and she already has invited me to the next round of interviews up there.I really don't know what to do.

20 minutes after I finished my soup and sandwich (Tri Tip sub and Crab and Wild Musroom chowder), someone comes in from a meeting with a giant box of Jimmy Johns sandwiches that were leftover (whole sandwiches, untouched). I pretty much have to have one even though I'm not hungry, right?

Be rude not to.Kind of felt that way yesterday at Blazer game. Club Level = all you can eat and last night, they were serving smoked turkey, bangers and mash, cajun gumbo and about 3-4 other main entrees I never got around to. But despite throwing down a plate full of pretty tasty food, I went back for a hot dog later. Didn't really have room, but how do you pass up free hot dogs?Oh, and I also grabbed a bag of jelly beans and ate those.

Well, there's definitely a theme involved as there is more than one painting in this office with this same motif. However, these people are not traders....they look more like patrons at a bar or party. Boss's wife is artsy fartsy, so she does all the decorating and will sometimes slip into our office and 're-arrange' things or 're-decorate'. I don't think she cares that the 5 of us could work in a forlorn garage and be fine, so long as we had access to real time quotes, internet and a toilet.

So I'm finally finishing up my degree online through UT-Arlington. For some reason, none of the science classes I took transfer directly to UTA, so I'm taking freshman biology this semester. The whole first chapter is an overview of science. It spends a ton of time talking about science and religion and how they're not necessarily in conflict and how some people are scientists and religious and some people are scientists and atheists and it's not that big of a deal. I find this very weird. I went to high school in a small town in Texas and took biology at UT-Austin. I don't remember either of those classes needing to address the topic. Have the religious wackos protested to the point that this actually has to be covered in college classes everywhere, or is this just a quirk of this course?
