so more detail:
I'm leaving for mexico with the two 20-somethings on sunday for 5 days. the other day I bought a new truck. not just any truck--leather seats, enough electronics to launch the space shuttle--basically a giant luxury car with a truck bed. my paralegal loves it. she's going to drive me and the 20-somethings to the airport at 5 in the morning and come pick us up at midnight in exchange for driving this thing for 5 days.
this will end so well.

I remember discussing that. I agreed to serve on our board because the developer ran out and left us with a budget that was 40% more than our income. We begged, pleaded, stole, borrowed and bounced checks to keep the lights on. By the time we got to last year, most of our time was spent dealing with neighbors whose pets were ####ting/pissing on each others' lawns. Homeowners Association. It's like a microgovernent in many neighborhoods. It's really too boring of a topic to include here. My time largely involved getting ####faced drunk with my neighbor while conducting "official neighborhood business." We did manage to see guns pulled in our general direction twice. Once while cruising past a park just outside our neighborhood that was known for drug transactions and once when the county sheriffs were cracking down on dealers in said park.Explain this HOA thing?'bentley said:Sucks to be you.
