NCAA tournament profile: Wisconsinby CBSSports.com Staff, CBSSports.comThe Badgers suffered a Big Ten tournament semifinal setback (65-52) to Michigan State, the third loss to their ranked conference rival. They’ll make their 14th straight trip to the NCAA tournament and will pose fits for opponents with stifling defense. Wisconsin ranks first in the nation in scoring defense and gives up 52.5 points per game. The team is third in field-goal scoring defense at 38.3 percent. Senior point guard Jordan Taylor is the scoring leader at 14.7 points per game and has done an exceptional job in bringing along an inexperienced front court. I just have your phone number. I don't think Blackberry automatically adds email addresses. I don't really know what Blackberry does. Bring back the rotary phone, I say.

The subject of ice cream came up in class today. Someone mentioned how much they liked Häagen-Dazs. I made a comment about how it was too bad we don't have a Häagen-Dazs shop here in town.

Girl: Yeah we do!

Me: We do? Are you sure? (knowing full well we don't)

Girl: Yes. I've been there.

(all the other kids are saying either 'no we don't' or 'where? why didn't I know about this?'

Me: Hmmm...where is it?

Girl: It's down in L.A. near the airport.

Me: Ahhh...well I said that it was too bad there wasn't one in town so...

Girl: But isn't that in town?

Me: Uh no...not really. Do you remember how long it took you to get there? Were you in a car?

Girl: Yeah, we drove there on our way to the airport.

Me: But you're talking about the L.A. airport, right?

Girl: Yes. But that's still in town, right?

Me: :unsure: You do know we live in Bakersfield and not Los Angeles don't you?

Girl: YES! But since I didn't fly to L.A. it's still IN TOWN! Duh!

I'm not sure what your issue is. We drove the car out to Phoenix from Chicago when we made the move, and it was nice to see the change in scenery and climate without leaving town.

:lmao: Christ, definitely not out, hence the reason SofaKing's comment was immediately deleted once he posted it. The Credit Union she works at sponsored the Chamber networking thing last night and she was in charge of it since she's in charge of sales and marketing. She told me this morning that she was going to put up pics from last night on the Credit Union's FB page including the one of her and I. I didn't think it was a big deal, but then she put up the pictures on her own page and tagged me in our picture. We both got absolutely hammered at the event last night so we were both kind of hanging today. So we both got out of work early today and she came over so we could nap (among other things, including a masturbation contest, 22 year olds are fun) We both get FaceBook notification messages on our phones. So as we're laying there we both get a notification on our phone which was my sister in law commenting on the picture saying that I looked like my other brother, Billy. We kinda laughed and then I asked if it was a good idea that she put this picture up and she said it was fine because most people know that she and I are friends (hell, she lives down the street from me, with her parents of course) So a little while later we both get beeps on our phones and I didn't bother checking my phone but she said "oh, somebody commented on the picture" and then she said "who's (SofaKing's real name) and at first I wasn't sure who it was but I knew it was a name from the GMTAN and I immediately panicked at what might have been written. All he wrote was "Interesting.." I was relieved but keep in mind that picture is also on her FB Wall which her boyfriend monitors like a hawk. She asked who he was again and why he would say "interesting", I had to do some quick thinking. I had to make sure that she didn't think I told anyone about "us" and I had to try to figure out how to explain who Sofa was without using the phrase "friend from the internet". I quickly said that Sofa was a friend of my brother and he probably said "interesting" in reference to my sister in law's comment about me looking like my brother. She laughed and "oh yeah thats probably it". PHEW!!!! But then she said, "wait, John (her boyfriend) is definitely going to be wondering about that comment". So I said I'd delete the comment but didn't know how to, but she showed me and the comment was gone faster than a Tanner alias.Now her parents were also at the event last night as they own their own business and just joined the Chamber. 22 YO does not do a great job of disguising our relationship when she is drinking. As I'm in the middle of telling a joke to bunch of 50 year old guys that are the executives of most of the major businesses in the area, she walks up and hands me her car keys and asks me to hold them in my pocket for her as she rubbed my arm. She walked away and all of these older gentlemen were in shock as to what they just saw. I avoided her parents throughout the night and tried to make sure that I wasn't talking to 22 YO while her parents were nearby. So after 22 YO left my house today around 6PM to go home, I get a text from her about 15 minutes later saying "my parents just sat me down and grilled me about what I was doing with you". I asked what she said and she told me explained to them that she knows me because I work for a competitor and I'm always at these Chamber events and that she knows a lot of people from my bank and that I was just a nice guy she became friends with but nothing was going on. Her parents bought it. I then texted her asking "so I take it you didn't tell them about the masturbation contest we had today?" So, it would be great for me if no one made comments on FB regarding me and 22 YO. Don't worry Sofa, your comment wasn't a big deal but I had to delete it, sorry about that. :lmao: Almost forgot this part. When we were laying in bed looking at the FB pic on her phone, she noticed that GM "LIKED" the picture.
