Ninja (or somebody else in the know): What would be the recommended tire pressure for a low-end, 26 inch beach cruiser?

depends on the tire more than the bike. What kind of tire?
It's round and black. I just checked. It says 26 x 2.125. Recommended PSI = 40lbs. I guess I answered my own question
Based on that info, I'd recommend 40 lbs. But I'm no expert.
You are expert enough, sir. Expert enough.

Teach a man to read his tires and he can pedal the rest of his life

I'd recommend 40 psi.
:lmao:  I'm going with 39.5 psi. Why? Because screw you, that's why.Actually just hope this thing doesn't fall apart. I just looked it up. It's a $100 Walmart special. It belonged to my late brother in law. He bought it just before he was diagnosed with cancer. I don't think it was ever even ridden. My sister told me a month ago she wanted to give it away. I picked it up today. I'm going to ride it around for awhile. I'm hoping it's a gateway drug to a slightly more serious bike. In a couple of months I'll probably pick your brain for what's next. Out of curiosity I checked craigslist. Looks like everybody and their mother has a nearly new bike they need to get rid of.

At the airport for my flight back from my buddy's bachelor party weekend. There was a small line in front of me in security (maybe 30 people) and the douchbag behind me has the audacity to ask the security people if there is a first class line. They opened up a first class line for him and he got to skip ahead of us all. As luck would have it, his bag had to be rescanned and he ended up clearing security around the same time as me. It's been a long but fun weekend. Played golf for the first time in my life. Got iced for the first time in my life (didn't know people still did that). I didn't go to bed last night and I have gotten about 6 hours of sleep in the past 48 hours. :banned: :banned: :banned:
sorry to hear you fly coach.
There was no first/business class on this flight

Junior prom recap. Ripped a shot with a very cute teacher before everyone arrived. Then the $1000 dresses showed up and girls were dress like high priced working ladies. I didn't mind, and I'm sure HjS would've enjoyed the trail of tail.

I got too drunk afterwards, and on Saturday for a shot video.

Oh, almost forgot. I was flattered when a lovely 18 year old asking for a picture said that I should join them at the after party. I respectfully declined.

Does not compute

I just saw Tre's shot with a dog. :lmao:

It's good to see bars in Minnesota will serve anybody. Anybody.

I'm saddling up the horse this afternoon. Should be there in a couple weeks.

I'm on satellite delay, too. Think I saw that charvik got a new job in record time--congrats, GB!!

I just finished a presentation to our Board of Directors, CEO, etc. Crappy way to start a week. I hate presentations. Is it too early for a drink?

It will probably fall apart, all due respect to your late BIL. Biking is fun. For that kind of bike craigslist is a great resource, though you can get a workable bike new for under $500. Let me know - I'd be happy to help. Biking is awesome. Except when it rains outside and you only bring shorts and a short sleeve shirt to ride home in like I did last night. Doh.

This is probably what my riding experience will be like

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I too am in the market for a bike. Once we move, I'm going to put my bike on the communter train and then bike into the office. Hoping to save gas money and drop some pounds. Also hoping to pick up a healthy habit for once in my life. I am hoping to pick up a used bike for under $200. Would hate to tie up real money into a bike and let it sit in the garage motionless next to my roller blades, punching bag and barbells. :bag:

Yup, got me a "to go" cup and had a smoke at the bar. What smoking ban? Exactly.

Cafeteria at work this week is featuring a

"Philadelphia" Philly Melt
:mellow:eta - as you might guess, we're not located near Philadelphia:mellow:
This bugs me too. Especially when they serve hamburgers and french fries.
Oh, I'm fine with them serving a Philly-type sammich. Just wondering if we'll see a "Boston" Philly or an "Albuquerque" Philly next week.(aplogies if I just :whoosh: ed your shtick)

Ahhh...I didn't realize they actually advertised it as a "Philadelphia" Philly. That's pretty awesome.

Saw a saw in Seligman, AZ advertising a "cheeseburger with cheese"

Am I supposed to know who Bill Stewart is?
Stewart was named the Mountaineers interim coach in 2007 after Rich Rodriguez left for Michigan. He was elevated to permanent head coach in 2008, and coached West Virginia through the 2010 season. In three seasons, he compiled a 28-12 overall record.

I like NY's smoking ban. It's an easy way to separate the sluts at the bar. Want easy? Go outside.

:hot: Hey, the stomach flu has come in for a nice family visit. Swell timing, old friend. Got a pregnant lady flying to Detroit on Wednesday, a week of work that I cannot miss (though I'm home now thanks to Coop barfing in the hallway at school), a meeting tomorrow morning with a guy in from Seattle just to see me, a baseball game tonight and a flight back to Motor City myself on Saturday. Can't wait to catch this. :hot:

To be on the safe side, I'm drinking at 2pm. Figure I better keep some booze in the system just in case. Plus, baseball game will probably get rained out. :kicksrock:
