GM's thread about nothing (22 Viewers)

July 25th update:

K4 continues her discussion on a potential move to Seattle.

GM and Bentley enjoyed an afternoon cornhole – fairly uneventful. Bentley wears awesome shoes.

Bogart’s ex is getting re-married. :banned:

Shuke, Kevzilla and cosjobs plan a cornhole.

YSR stands for Young Sir Robin.
I'm liking these daily updates. Thank you.

It is pretty much my biggest accomplishment on a day-to-day basis so I am glad you enjoy.

FBG people are fantasy football friends
yep. Just the other day when I showed Guster's video to the fiancee I had to preface it with, "this guy I play fantasy football with sent me this video, that didn't get sent to this other guy in the league and he was mad about it..."

Kindle guys> can I get the books that I didn't buy from Amazon (thanks again Tre and cos) into my Amazon Cloud and therefore available for me to pull down into my iPhone Kindle app?I'm at new employee orientation and would really like to be able to read Game of Thrones during the downtime between presenters/paperwork.
Tre fixed you up? I'm still waiting as are several people downline from me.edit to add: theoretically they should be fine in the a-cloud, but then again, I would be hesitant to store them there.
I put them on my google drive. Link sent to cos...if anyone else is interested I can send it. #kisses
:bye:
Did you get them?
Nope
Oh that's right, I sent it to Woz instead.
Still waiting... :coffee:

you did what now?? :lmao: :lmao:
Somehow the topic came up about girls either sending pics or letting them be taken. I mentioned the video sent to me. She was impressed.

tre. I don't want to look a gift horse... but I can only download 50 at a time and they must be zipped. then downloaded, then uzipped and moved to the correct folder. x30. It will take me half a day minimum. are you sure you can't walk out to the mailbox?

See what you've done?
later guys....see you on tinyboard.

Today is garage cleaning day. This is like my own personal armageddon. So far I have, in a couple hours, managed to take half the crap I own into my driveway, with the goal of throwing about half of that away and organizing the other half well. Now I have to do the hard part, which is figure out where it goes. . I'd rather just sit on the internet all afternoon drinking beer.

I met her online. We're i-friends.
I used to have to explain this every time I got a care package from the Internet.Sadly (?), I don't anymore. SLB sent me some goods the other day and Romo was completely unfazed. He opened the box and picked through everything before I even got home. The note was just signed "Bob" and the only thing Romo asked when I got home was, "Is this from St. Louis Bob?"

I should probably remember to log out of here on our common laptops.
I've never gotten a "package" from SLB. :kicksrock:
I sent her a mix tape and some poetry I wrote.

I'm not from the 18th century but there was a considerable amount of cursing.

Somebody make me laugh. Or talk about having a really craptastic day so I'll feel better about myself. TIA

I love you (except Tanner and Frosty)

Homer, what's your email address?

We need your help! Our JV and Varsity teams have girls that would LOVE to cheer for our players, but they are in need of a cheer coach. If you or someone you know would like to coach a group of spirited 9-12 year old girls we would LOVE to have you (ASAP!)Email us back!

It appears that some ******* has sold my cell number...getting all kinds of calls from numbers I don't know. :dead:

This should be the entire list in a zip for those that NEED ALL TEH BOOKZ at once: https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B5tfczw4KSysMERObTA3NkRRVVE
Now how do I get them onto my wife's kindle :bag: I figure I can email them to myself to put them on my iPad, but I've never used her kindle.

I use the amazon send to kindle for pc to send a few books at a time wirelessly to my kindle. I don't like to have a billion books on there at once. Otherwise you need the miniusb to usb cable. I have one, but I have yet to use it.

use this for e-book management:

http://calibre-ebook.com/

can sync to kindle with it very easily
:goodposting: The first thing I did when I got a kindle care package from cos was put every book on my kindle. This was a terrible idea, it slowed search down so bad it was barely useable. Now I keep anywhere from 10-50 books on my kindle, everything works quickly, and I go back from time to time and put some on/take some off.

What percentage of the participants in this thread live in either Seattle or Austin?
:goodposting: When I was calculating the cool quotient of various cities' GMTANNERs, the only one I thought came close to Seattle was Austin.Really only a couple of options here...we all move to Seattle or Austin (I'll let GM stay in Portland since it's close enough). I'm cool either way; just let me know.
:goodposting:A lot of times I get real jealous of you people living in cool cities
Wait 6 months, it'll be 100 degrees colder here than it was yesterday.
Yea, that seemed funnier at the time.
