I'm getting drunk with the biggest bunch of entitied, ignorant, racist Obama haters on the planet. My wife is begging me not to napalm the whole room. It's killing me to not make these people that I really do care about not feel stupid. Because if would be really ducking easy.
Are we related?

My daughter is having oral surgery right now. She got the awesome combination of her mom's larger teeth and my smaller mouth. She has 5 little teeth that were preventing the big ones from coming down. She usually gets $1 from the tooth fairy when she loses teeth (she's 6 and has lost 9 already!) but her mom told her that the tooth fairy pays $10 per extracted tooth so kid is gonna make $50. Zooks > for the money i'm gonna be paying over the next couple of years, I'm pretty sure your future daughter in law is going to have pretty perfect teeth
So I got 50 $1 bills for this. Any shtick ideas on how the "tooth fairy" should place them? They usually get folded or rolled and shoved under her pillow, but I've to do better here
How about taped to the ceiling the words "ONE MORE TOOTH AND I OWN YOUR SOUL"?
lol. I like the taped to the ceiling idea. That might be interesting
Go ahead, I don't see what could go wrong.

Cos - thanks for being a gracious host. JR and Yuke had a good time. Consider the snack cup full of Goldfish a thank you gift.

Firing up Tiger Fan chili today...may not be as famous as JS's but it's still pretty good:2 lbs meat4 bell peppers2 onions1 bag carol shelby mix1/4 bottle of tobasco (optional)1/2 bottle of pickapepper sauce1 dark beerpinch of salt1 can of: pinto, red, black, kidney beans1 small can of tomato paste1 small can of tomato sauce1 small can of green chiles1. Cut up meat and veggies2. Brown with Carrol Shelby Mix (not the masa part yet)3. Add veggies and stir until mixed well4. Open all cans (except for green chiles) and pour in5. Take the smallest can (typically the tomate paste) and fill it with water, use this can to wash outeach of the other cans, gradually adding water until you get to the biggest can. pour the biggestcan in (basically you'll get all the leftovers from all of the cans into the biggest can and dump it in)6. Take the masa flour from the caroll shelby mix and make a paste by adding water and then addit to the pot7. Add chiles8. Add pickapepper sauce9. Add tobasco (optional)10. Add beer
Cooking one of these for the Saints game tomorrow.

Just watched Avengers with new sound bar hooked up. Love the simulated surround and ashamed I kept my Infinity bookshelf speakers circa 1992 for sooooo long. :bag:

I did the Judge's recipe last year - everything x3 since I'm a complete idiot. It turned out fine, but was way too labor-intensive for my lazy ###. I think I'm liking your recipe better, TF. Ok if I steal it and claim it as my own?

Go for it. Agree that JS' is definitely time consuming....but it's solid. I'm doing mine with chicken tomorrow and have had the chicken breasts marinating in Abita Turbodog Beer all day. Can't wait.My wife couldn't find the green chiles at the store, and I have some leftover dry chilis from JS's recipe...so I might rehydrate them and try that out with mine

Agreed that JS's is killer. Part of the problem I had was that I - in my sober planning (THAT won't happen again) - did everything to a multiple of 3. I had 15 lbs of friggin meat in that thing. Plus, I misread the garlic in the Judge's recipe and didn't realize that he was not advocating buying 15 WHOLE garlics. I remember the girl at check-out looking at me strangely but, since that happens whenever I'm in public, I didn't realize how dumb I really was.

I don't have garlic listed in my recipe...but i definitely use it. I always have a huge jar of minced garlic on hand for cooking...it's a staple. I'll probably throw one or two big spoonfulls when I throw in the veggiesETA: Since I'm using chicken, I'll use olive oil to brown the meat. If using ground beef, I let it cook in its fat

:lmao: at 15 heads of garlic to go with 15lbs of meat in the chili.

I'm pretty drunk and celebrating the Irish win. Unless K St. or Oregon lose, ND can go undefeated and NOT play for the national title, and I'm ok with that. They've done enough to be in the conversation, though. If some of those teams stumble, they can get there.

Also, Klein is the clear front-runner for the Heisman. I just want to see Manti Te'o invited to New York.

no not really, I hope. Their employees sort thru everything and what is inappropriate to sell or give way they bundle up and sell in bulk to paper or rag makers or others who re-purpose them. It all adds up to $ for the charity. Its not like you're handing it to a poor person and telling them to wear it.
Really? Never knew this. I always figured it just created more work for them which essentially eats into the value of the donation.

Really? Did you think they just took stuff straight out of the grocery bags I threw into the donation bin (no way I'm going to waste a trash bag on those disgusting poor people) and onto the rack?

This "having a kid" thing is pretty cool. Except I keep getting cabin fever/stir crazy sitting home on a weekend. Especially this weekend where whores think to themselves "Self, the way I normally dress isn't whorrey enough. How about more slutty?"

Due to astonishingly bad team management involving forgetting to set my lineup Thursday night and therefore leaving Mike Williams on my bench, I have to pick up a WR for today. The following are available. Any and all input is welcome:

Sidney Rice

Brandon Stokely

Titus Young

Stephen Hill

Santana Moss

Josh Gordon

Kendall Wright

Michael Crabtree

Domenik Hixon

Leonard Hankerson

T. Y. Hilton

Joshua Morgan

Ryan Broyles

Davonne Bess

I'd say Young, Moss, Gordon. Note on Gordon it is a cold rainy day here in Cleveland (shocking, I know).

Anyone having problems with the "Go to Last Unread Post" button? It's working everywhere else in the forums for me but not in this thread. I keep getting taken to the very last post.
Same issue.
Same problem this a.m. I had almost two pages I had to go back and catch up on.
I thought it was my new computer.
Ditto
Aaron>Do you remember what you did to fix this? It's happening again in the "recently viewed movie" thread. TIA.

Colin Cowherd has been my gambling jebus this year. Let's hope for my sake he remains red hot.

Colin's Picks

Falcons (+3) at Eagles

Giants (-2) at Cowboys

Chargers at Browns (+3)

Seahawks (+2.5) at Lions

Dolphins (+2.5) at Jets
My ability to attend Cosjobshole may be riding on this.
