Told my boss I needed a 50% raise in order to make this bike shop thing a career, and I really would like to do that. Also told him I didn't need it immediately because I know cash flow is very poor right now due to recent expansion. He didn't blink at my number, told me he didn't want to lose me, said he appreciated that I understood the cash flow issue, and to talk to him in May and he'd get me taken care of. He's a square dude. I believe him. So maybe in a couple months I'll be making what I was as a 23 year old recent college graduate.
