GM's thread about nothing (36 Viewers)

Sittin in the ideal image laser place waiting on my wife, there is a guy sitting across from that looks like ron white, i wonder what he is getting lasered?

At San Antonio rodeo guzzling $8 beers. Mother in law just bought my daughter a $6 cotton candy and a $15 light sabre thing. Yes. $15 ####### dollars.

I think I dropped almost 100 bucks at the circus on just food and junk for my two kids. I was amazed how much money every single thing cost there.

I just ordered a Homer-type delivery order of food. :X
Girl Scout cookies?
Calzone and loaded potato wedges (I needed to get to the $8 minimum order). :porked:
Just did this again, from the same place. Except I nixed the potato wedges and added wings. :moneybag:
I ordered Chinese last night and they put three fortune cookies in there. Yeah, I'm three f'n people! :hot:  :hot:
Confucius say: Man who walk through airport turnstile sideways going to Bangkok.

Just got back from my normal pedicure/specialty-beer run. Anyone tried Lagunitas Hop Stoopid Ale?
Yep. It's pretty damn good. I actually prefer their Maximus IPA even though beer nerds rank the Hop Stoopid over it.
You didn't ask, but last week my brother bought me an Old Rasputin at the local pub when he was in town. Two actually, and they were sipped over a couple of hours. First, they were outstandingly good. Second, I definitely felt the alcohol content.

Before the all of the hysteria Thursday night, Mrs. SLB cooked me an awesome dinner. Bacon wrapped filet, perfectly seasoned topped with bleu cheese butter, Shrimp Scampi, grilled asparagus and bruschetta. Damn I love this slut.
:lmao:Tell her that hummus is a good complement to that.

The next couple of hours are usually my happiest of every week...I'm at my daughter's gymnastics class, watching her practice, catching up on the Internet and taking a minute to catch my breath. After this we always go to the same restaurant nearby that has a popcorn machine and play keno while we eat our lunch
 Those routines like you have are the things you and she will remember. I've been watching my son in his tae kwon do class after school with his kindergarten classmates. Very fun.

We are always nice to our garbage pick up guys. We put out cookies on holidays, and we give a generous tip around christmas. WhyTF do they insist on leaving the empty trash containers right in the middle of my driveway when I come home from work?
#### these guys. I don't tip anymore. They insist on leaving the lids open to our receptacles, even when it is raining or snowing.
our guys throw them in the road, on the grass, in the driveway, etc. broke the top off my garbage can so half the time that's in two pieces.. and if it's windy... down the street somewhere.

The hell? Clearly you guys need to import some Mexicans.

People tip their garbage collectors? Really?

Old Rasputin is some good ####! My GB homebrews and recently did a Russian Imperial that was modeled after it. He took 2nd in some midwest contest a few weeks ago. I had 5 pints of it on NYE. The night is a bit fuzzy.

 That's Yankee Stadium prices. Actually, no. Miller Lite and Budswill is only $6 in the Bronx.
That's not bad at all. $8.50 in the superdome. I have a hookup with one of the bartenders. I "tip" her $5 everytime and she gives me a "free" 20 oz draft

So because of the sick dog, I wasn't able to drive 3.5 hours with my wife and son for my father-in-law's 60th birthday party. The dog is doing much better so far and I have a fridge full of beer. Who's up for some DrunkChat™ tonight?

Used to at Christmas, if service was good.

I just returned home after being in Chicago for two days for a job interview. Really melancholy now, and fairly melancholy while there. It's like being home without really being home. The highlight was that, within 15 minutes of going to my old neighborhood dive bar last night, Tamale Guy showed up. I nearly hugged him.

Oh, and as if things weren't ####ty enough, I got word from Julio that Casa Paloma was broken into today. Stupid guests staying there didn't secure the doors. Apparently very little was taken--just a purse and phone--because the midget across the street ran them off, which led to perhaps my favorite Julio sentence ever:

The weird thing is that all the amenities of the house are in the house, so i am not sure what the thieves took, aparrently everything is there, even the laptop of the tenant was there, may be is because the Short person started to shout at them saying the thieves and pointing them, so they did not have the time to take something from the house.

:lmao: Oh God, I'm having Fantasy Island images flashing through my head!

I'd be wary there GB...Cups are usually inventoried pretty closely as it's the easiest item to do usage accountability forServers who are selling extras usually fish used cups out of the garbage and refill them

Yeah I know the tricks. I used to work at a movie theatre with a bunch of stoners. I watch her everytime. She pulls straight from the new cups

TF, would love to know the good, the bad, the ins and outs of living in New Orleans. Chicago makes a lot more sense, but I keep being drawn back to the idea of living in New Orleans instead.

We just got done watching Lincoln. WOW. I may have teared up three different times. I also may have forgotten to turn my lights on for the drive to the bar.
