Buddy of mine set up a porn filter for his computer at home so his kid couldn't/wouldn't watch porn (12 years old). My wife gets word of it, and asked him to set it up at our house. So great, now I get a "blocked domain" message whenever I try to go to, ah, alternative websites. For the love of christ. So my options are to get my porn from my tiny Samsung phone, or to ask my buddy how to get around the porn blocker so I can watch porn. Not really something I want to have to ask him how to do.#### it. I'm going to bed.

What kind of "buddy" is this? Did you guys not discuss this?

Heading to my monthly poker game in a little. This game is always awesome because its only a $20 buy-in, but that usually gets you 2 hours of action at the very least. The game usually starts around 9 and ends sometime after midnight. It's an awesome mix of people who play like winning is going to forever change their lives and then some that are happy to donate $20 to hang out with buddies. My favorite though is the guy that has to take a smoke break every 20 minutes or so and insists on playing by the official rules of poker. He knows the nickname for every hand and makes sure to call it out. This is a friendly game, but not to him. Perhaps bad timing on my part here, but I'm thinking of employing Tanner shtick on him tonight and calling out nicknames for hands that don't make any sense. Any suggestions?

I'm going to be in Indiana mid-April and my boss is trying to tie it to a trip to N Kentucky (read, Cincinnati.) The issue is that Indiana will require a whole week so Kentucky would likely mean spending the weekend out that way. That's not normally something I'm willing to do. However, if it were to involve a $20 poker game with Shuke and Guster in Cincinnati on the weekend, I'll book the flight and hotel tomorrow.

Do it up. In the least, the Reds have a 10 day home stand starting on 4/15.

Some of it is funny, but most seems like someone's trying too hard and running back to tell his/her friends how much hilarity ensued.Look, there's no one ever who comes across as more pretentious than I do.
