And I'm going to have to agree with whomever said you were a tard.Hmmm... going to have to agree with whomever said your taste in movies is especially bad.####ing terrible.Thoughts on Tommyboy?
Tommyboy is a top 3 all-time comedy.
Oh, I've heard of it. I just never saw it.That was supposed to quote GM...how has someone not heard of Inception? It's pretty good but not a masterpiece. Will check out Inception.

You and SLBD were in Boston yesterday? We had drinks where someone of it was filmed with SLBD yesterday. Did I mention he's a great guy? Wish we had more time to hang out.The Departed was f'ing awesome, and now I'm hungry for pork chops. These two thoughts may or may not be related.
So "check it out" means you'll watch it?Oh, I've heard of it. I just never saw it.That was supposed to quote GM...how has someone not heard of Inception? It's pretty good but not a masterpiece. Will check out Inception.

I was confused by that too, but I think he means the George Clooney movie Descendants that was filmed on Kauai.Awesome tiki bar near Hanalei Bay makes some good Mai Tais.Officer Pete Malloy, on 09 May 2013 - 16:03, said:

Those people are ####ing geniuses. They also invented the Honeycrisp Apple. Some good work going on there.I recently learned that the University of Minnesota has a meat science program. Not sure what I've been doing with my life, but I missed my calling.
Apparently when they butcher and prepare delicious meats and sausages and bacons they sell it!
http://www.ansci.umn.edu/MeatLab/
The problem is they're only open from 2-5pm on Wednesdays, but it appears I can email and make special arrangements.
All of the pigs:
PERFECT 10 PACK, $110.00 includes 10lbs of regular
pork chops, 10 pkg. of thick cut pork chops to grill or to
stuff,10lbs of ribs, 10lbs of pork roasts, 10lbs
of pork sausage chubs (plain & seasoned)
No trap, just different lingo I guess.
To me "check it out" means you'll look into the movie and see what it is about or whatever and then maybe decide to see it. I was a little shocked that you maybe were living in a cave and had never heard of it.
Nevermind. Carry on. tl:don'tread
She doesn't seem to be all that happy about the apple.Oh, hello Homer.Might have to check out these Honeycrisp things.
I got a sausage chub just reading that.I recently learned that the University of Minnesota has a meat science program. Not sure what I've been doing with my life, but I missed my calling.

"You know in America it's "bling, bling," but out here it's "bling, bang."But I'm done with Leo. "Blood Diamond" was one of the worst movies I've ever seen in my life. His accent was awful. He was awful. No matter what he does, he looks like a little boy acting in a man's role. It doesn't work for me.

No, but neither does hurling an insult and then acting slack-jawed when somebody hurls back. For clarity, does calling people 'tards' gain some sort of GMTAN thread cred?
You are both neat people. I have you both firmly in my top 300 of FBG.Saying someone has bad taste in movies = calling someone a tard? No, but neither does hurling an insult and then acting slack-jawed when somebody hurls back. For clarity, does calling people 'tards' gain some sort of GMTAN thread cred? You are both neat people. Wait until next year. The season seems to be winding down, and they're not as good as they were several months ago.Might have to check out these Honeycrisp things.
I guess I'm in the camp that calling people tards is about as low brow and dimwitted as it gets... especially in the middle of movie chat. Not exactly the people I'd hang around, but whatever tickles your pickle. Why are you so angry?Saying someone has bad taste in movies = calling someone a tard? No, but neither does hurling an insult and then acting slack-jawed when somebody hurls back. For clarity, does calling people 'tards' gain some sort of GMTAN thread cred? You are both neat people. You need to do some hitching, there's a secret "handshake" involved with that too.
Saying that you think Tommy Boy is a "Top 3 Comedy" and then saying someone else has terrible taste in movies = you being a tard.Saying someone has bad taste in movies = calling someone a tard? No, but neither does hurling an insult and then acting slack-jawed when somebody hurls back. For clarity, does calling people 'tards' gain some sort of GMTAN thread cred? You are both neat people. The English version is available on Amazon for $7. Penguin published it in 1999, the same year the movie came out.Eyes Wide Shut is based on a 1920s novella called "Traumaville," written by some obscure author. When the news broke that Kubrick was finally doing a new movie, I got all geeky and I tried my damnest to find a copy to read.
Couldn't locate a single one. You'd think someone would have bought the rights and fired up the presses. Kubrick geeks alone would have guaranteed a profit. But nope.
Sure seems like. Also, has been mailing it in on his own books for quite a few years now. Used to be a big fan, now not so much.Homer J Simpson, on 09 May 2013 - 16:49, said:So this James Patterson guy is just, like, franchising his name now?
orgasms in your mouth.Might have to check out these Honeycrisp things.
The original Cross books were good. Had Patterson in the same class as say a Robert Parker.Sure seems like. Also, has been mailing it in on his own books for quite a few years now. Half shirt?Did SLBD wear his elbow pads? What?
Exactly. I haven't seen a good, new, funny movie in a long time.I've come around on a lot of the mid 90s "stupid" comedies like Tommy Boy and Black Sheep I wasn't a huge fan at the time, but compared to the Happy Madison dreck of the past several years (Jack & Jill, Grown Ups, etc) and the self indulgent angst ridden movies of the Apatow oeuvre (This is 40? More like this is 40 minutes too long, amirite?), I've come to appreciate them more...They are broad and sophomoric, sure, but they also didn't try to be more than they were, and had the decency to clock in under 100 minutes
I hear Tre starred in one.Exactly. I'm going to wait for the "Things CC is an Expert On" thread.Go on.I'm guessing you're not familiar with Leo's work?I'm expecting Leo to play a better Gatsby. Redford was a total stiff.Does something different happen in this version of Gatsby that didn't in the book or in the Robert Redford film?I like Leo. Redford is the better actor, sure, but he was awful as Gatsby.
