So, I had an EGD today. Actually a follow up EGD from a previous one performed in December. When I woke up in recovery, the doctor was there with pictures of my esophagus. Said it looked much improved than 6 months previous, but then he pointed to an area of discoloration and said, "We took a sample of these cells for a biopsy." So hearing that sucked. He didn't seem to worried, but since my dad died of esophageal cancer, I'm kinda freaking out. Should know something middle of next week.

No cancer for my fat ###!

I have a question about the Facebooks. I've had at least 50 people from this board send me friend requests that I've accepted. Yet 98% never comment on the few posts I make. Is it because I'm not on there very much? Is it because my posts suck? Something else? The whole thing has me shuked.

I actively avoid the posts of most ifriends, partially because most of the things posted there end up being discussed here anyway, partially because I figure most people would prefer to avoid having a RL friend say, "WTF? You have an actual friend named Bob Sacamano" (Which is similarly why I'm not RL Facebook friends with anybody here. I neither want to cause others to have those conversations nor do I want to have them myself), and partially because most of the things I want to post would be wildly inappropriate. And aparently, by the standards of some here, "creepy".

Exceptions are generally those I've met IRL, and even then I mostly avoid comment. Cheese is Funny being the one major exception. I can't help myself.

Yes because I know people don't say "WTF? You have an actual friend named CSB??!!".

I am pretty lazy about posting comments on Facebook. I don't post a bunch in general on it. Mostly pics of my kids playing baseball or other sports - my oldest son is killing it in case anyone is wondering

SLB - also - i was reading the autism thread. PM me when you get some time - I am involved with an organization that works with a lot of kids on the autism spectrum. Pretty cool place. Hope i am not overstepping there.

Case was about a defendent who turned in front of a police car as he went in to a school. The officer testified that he had to slow down to allow the defendent to complete the turn which Constitutes creation of a hazardous instance.

The defendent broke out some math and showed that the dashboard camera speedometer was off by 10 mph. The officer was going 45 in a 35 and if the officer had been flowing the speed limit, the defendent would have had plenty of time to make the turn safely.

Taxes are stupid. I just realized I never updated my W4 at the beginning of the year when we had our daughter. I went and filled out the online tax calculator to see what I should set my allowances at to try and end the year at no refund. It said to go with 17, didn't seem right but the IRS made the thing so it must be correct, right?

HR lady just updated it and did payroll to see what the taxes would be, I no longer have to pay income tax for the year . Turns out in 6 months I have paid almost exactly what my yearly tax should be.
