Granted, I'm a strange monkey myself (Guster nailed it by the way: got a shadow side that pops up now and then, to my regret), but Imp is either 100% bat#### crazy or just 50% and likes to posture because it makes him feel powerful to "scare" people. It'd be tres amusant if it weren't so ridiculously sad. Half the time I don't even know what he's talking about.

I'd recognize the Helena Hat Trick anywhere (I mean who could forget what Dan Xiong did back in the '06 Capetown Cup play-in game), but you've got an extra 4 and three extra 1's in there. It's an interesting theory, but nowadays it would be easily sniffed out by anyone, especially if they're running a basic Pai Gow Post-Up.

Has any guy in the game every gotten so much credit for one ####ing play than Xiong? Give me a break. Seven years ago. Guy couldn't Gilinksy Transform himself out of a wet paper bag.

They should actually be pretty good this year, with a legit shot to make another little run as long as the new coach can keep things going the way Enfield had things going. The confidence Comer and everybody else gained on that run should serve them well next season, particularly because Sherwood Brown is their only real loss and it'll be pretty close to the same team back.

That thread is fascinating. Lots of insight in there. I have a friend that smokes a bowl every morning when he wakes up, then again at lunch and then hits his bong after work. He is very intelligent and has a very stressful high paying job in finance. He once told me he has a hard time focusing at work if he skips one of his bowl sessions. Myself on the other hand, I only smoke a few times a year now, but when I do, I over-do it and laugh hysterically like Dudley Moore in "Arthur" and eat pounds of shredded mozzarella cheese, lose at least one shoe and usually #### my pants before I pass out. I love it.

Haven't smoked since June 30, 1999 (the day South Park the Movie came out)...mostly b/c my wife wasn't a fan (she's smoked a few times, but views at as a high school/college thing) like it and we get tested at work, etc. But when I did, I would be just like this. Getting high was so much better than getting drunk. Just an absolute blast. When my wife and I were dating, we both toked up at Spring Break and literally just laughed at the pay phone for what seemed like hours, but was probably just 2 minutes.

I keep telling her that when I retire, I'm going to turn into a hippie....I'm about 40% kidding.

I had a partial tear of my rotator cuff about 8 years ago and it was in a tricky spot and since my dreams of being a professional athlete were already dashed at that point, my orthopedic doctor opted for rehab over surgery. Things had been ok but not 100% for a couple years until this February. I was at the gym and felt a pop and my arm went numb for a couple seconds. Since then i haven't been able to lift things above my shoulder and I hurts to hold my arm out to the side.

Over the last week or so it's been getting even worse. I rock the messenger bag look for work and can't even put the strap over my head. Might be time to reach out to the doctor again for another MRI

So my friend who's had the flooding, mold, house, baby, issues with the sick grandmother who I bought the old forester birthday bourbon for's grandmother died yesterday. I was supposed to visit him in Philly Saturday, but now it looks like the funeral may be then and in Rhode Island so I won't get to see him or deliver the booze (and baby crap). I don't know when I will get back to Philly. Is there a safe way to ship the booze or am I just asking for a broken bottle considering the luck he and I have been having of late?

Sounds like its time for one of the most painful surgeries out there. You'll be sleeping in a recliner for 4-6 months. My dad, uncle, and aunt all had it done. If you are lucky enough that they don't have to do anything to your bicep, the recovery will be much quicker though.

Yup, sounds like you need the knife. I've never had that injury but know something about it (former baseball pitcher) and am familiar with how lousy it is to have a blown rotator cuff.
