GM's thread about nothing (33 Viewers)

in 6 hours or so my wife is having a biopsy done on a mass in her left breast. she is easily one of the sweetest kindest people i have ever met. her mother died from breast cancer in her early 40's. she is terrified. i'm trying to hold it together.

i'll take any & all tpw's
TPWs for sure. Please let us know how it goes.
:goodposting:

The medical field has made huge advancements in detection and treatment since the days of her mom, so regardless of the diagnosis, don't give up hope. Thoprawishes and looking forward to a good report back

Adding in my TPW for your wife Raiders and please update when you can.

Speaking of the 'Cer, my niece finished her 30 days of radiation. She has a scan on 1/8 or thereabouts which will hopefully show she's in remission.

Keep your ##### crossed.
One of my favorite parts of Coldhole was meeting her, especially when uncle Tre said, "Nora, do you want to say hello to Thorn?" She looked up from her toys, furrowed her tiny bald brow, gave an emphatic "NO!" and then went back to playing.

Forgot that you technically cornholed with my niece and my mom and my dog.

:lmao: I wanted to say Mingy but that was a college roommate's nickname so I knew it couldn't be right.

I vaguely familiar discussing the Secret Santa gift I sent with the recipient over the weekend. But now I can't find the posts, so I have no idea if it was received. And I can't find the tracking number either. So, humph.

Finally finished The Wire. I rather enjoyed the final episode. Thought they did a great job tying it all up. Can't wait for the movie!
I watched the movie Fruitvale Station on the way to Seattle. Have you seen it? It stars Wallace.

Haven't even heard of it, but once I download Netflix to my fax machine I'll look for it.

I lent my neighbor buddy the Wire box set a few weeks ago and he's just about through season four. Just powering through the damn thing. My wife called him "heartless" because he didn't have to take a break between season one and season two to recover emotionally. :lmao:

Some Wire musings below:

- What happened to Cutty? Would have liked some sort of closure there.

- So Mike is the new Omar? I like it.

- Dookie, NOOOOOO!

- Randy turning into a bully saddened me, but it is what it is. Would have liked to see Carver and him reunite some way, but that's part of what made this show so great. It didn't put bandaids over all the wounds it inflicted. At least Namond (sp?) was a feel good story.

- COMMISSIONER VALCHEK! YES!!!

- Prez taking control. Very cool.

- Steve Earl looks like the ******* child of Cosjobs and Kyle Orton.

- Thank god I have Breaking Bad to jump in to. I'm going to miss The Wire :(

thanks all.

procedure completed. lady raiders is home and resting. doctor was positive about what she saw but we won't know for sure until the lab results come back on thursday.

my wife's awesome knockers........

she thought that every indication pointed to it merely being a fibroid nodule rather than anything benign.

excellent, may the doc be extraordinarily accurate in her preliminary thoughts

it's been a rough stretch since that superbowl debacle that i went to in SD. this is the first year in at least 15 years that i didn't go to a game.
