GM's thread about nothing (50 Viewers)

I got tickets in a suite at the 50-yard line with pre-game sidelines passes for the NFC championship between the Bears and Saints a few years ago. Same year, also got tickets to the Bears-Colts Super Bowl from a different vendor. Compliance approved both. :bowtie:
Best sporting event I've ever attended. I can't imagine any football game, SB included, comparing to a Conf Championship in the stadium of the team you're a fan of.
No offense, but that Bears team has got to be the worst team to ever reach the Super Bowl.
85 Patriots down?
'98 Falcons say 'hello'.
Weren't they like 15-1 in the regular season?
I guess I'm still bitter that they beat the Vikings that year, which was one of the best offensive teams I've ever seen (right before the Rams took flight). Falcons were good...good run game, decent QB. But they bored me and were very lackluster in the Super Bowl.

The Vikes were 15-1 that year. F-in Anderson. That loss is still the single worst gut punch I've ever experienced as a sports fan.

The Vikes were insane that year. As good as the Broncos were, I'm not sure they would have been able to beat Minnesota.

His only miss that whole season. :lmao:

What do we think of Charlotte?
We think it's close to GB's Worm and IB
Yes, but aren't you considering leaving for Ohio ?How good could it be?
Good point. Ms. IB's family is from Ohio and it would be almost twice the pay...and I'd still probably not go...
Twice the pay and you wouldn't go? Ohio's not that bad, dude.
Within range of polar vortices.

Oh and whenever it was the Raiders got stomped by the Bucs. They were pretty ####ty too.
:hot: i was at that game. no that team was pretty good. it was on the decline, but it had been to the previous 2 conference championship games. tuck rule and then fat ### siragusa pile drove gannon into the ground. it's been ####### brutal ever since.

Maybe because the old coot who owned the team was trying to be GM?

I used to get free tickets to the Blaze games all the time. I'd try to give them to my students and typically nobody wanted them The ballpark where they play is one of the worst parks in the country. Actually true.

MoP just floated a hanging curve in the SP Harbaugh thread about everyone getting participation ribbons now a days.

I don't have the guys to hit his pitch though. Someone feel free.

On the good news front: Wife just sent me a photo of a $1100 check from the bank that has our mortgage. Something something escrow something. We're going to Vegas next month. Ballin.

Man, I was drunk last night. At McCarron on my way to SFO. I have a sack of trash in my carry on ready to throw in case I see Truck there.
