GM's thread about nothing (61 Viewers)

I wish I was a loofah
:lmao:

Yes. My Mom & Sister were out of town for a volleyball tournament and my Dad rented it. I think that's when I fell in love with Bill Murray. I'll never forget asking my Dad why he got in trouble for saying "I think that sucks". WHAT??!! Pushups for that?! Why?! He told the truth!!"

My Dad just :lmao: and said "the military isn't for you son".

Ninja>do you ever try standup anymore? I was pretty envious of your balls for trying.
The subtext here is that a lot of lawyers show sociopathic tendencies too, which is why a lot of them enviously (albeit naively) look at stand-up comedians.

1) That new show on HBO "True Detective" is pretty awesome. You should watch it.

2) And then you should visit page 4 of the True Detective thread and witness Gordon Gekko reaching new heights of bat#### insanity.
Without having looked I'm going to guess that that thread is like a Bat(#### crazy) Signal to CurlyNight, amiright?

My stupid wife turned off the ice maker today, so me an my buddy are sitting here drinking and we are almost out of ice. I can't believe I'm saying this but I really wish I had some spare bags full of ice right now.
You have any frozen bagels? Put them in baggies and pour your drinks over them. Other frozen items might work equally poorly.

Truck, looks like we get the favorites this weekend? I like that personally.
I like Seattle -3.5. Obviously wish I could've grabbed -3, but I think it was there and gone for literally minutes at Sportsbook. Seattle's HFA for a game like this must be worth 5-6 points, and on a neutral field I think they're about a wash at this point. But the public loves a team that goes on a late tear.

I have no clue or feel for the AFC game. Lots of injuries on the Denver side. That game's been ping-ponging around -5, which is a pretty weak number in the NFL, esp. in a high-scoring game.

Public has been on fire. Sticking to my guns here.

My Mother in Law today told my wife that she has lung cancer. Severity unknown, full scan and biopsy over the next couple of weeks to see if it's spread. The initial scan has shown that it has already put out arms or tentacles or whatever so that doesn't sound good.

Yay
####, sorry to hear.

Watching the American Dad where Roger was on the 1980 Olympic hockey team.

"I was the agitator, the enforcer, the goon! In that game vs Sweden I was inside one of their forwards for like a minute...he still writes me...I don't write back...what am I afraid of?"

Community was hysterical this week, btw. GB Dan Harmon.
What was that a spoof on last week? We were lost.
Nothing, I don't think.

Chang greeting everyone with "What's up n-bombs" and just getting up to leave when the guy asked if he ever jerked off in the study room was :lmao: .

ETA: Also a clever way to write Donald Glover off the show. Which sucks, because he's better at televisions than he is at rapping.

####. Just, ####.

I don't know if I can be of any help, but feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Mata's on her way over. She's cooking my favorite meal - crab cakes and blahblahblahblahwhateverelsedoesn'tmatteritcouldbeturtlevomitandI'mokwithit. She's a southern Maryland gal, so making crab cakes is in her genes (where I'll be in an hour HAHAHAHA). Even so, I vetted her recipe :bag:

If they have WiFi in Cambodian prisons, I'll post the results Monday. Homer, I'll do some scouting while I'm there.

I found a house in a good location for me, via craigslist. Now, there's not many pictures, so I'm trying not to get my hopes up. I will see it Feb 1 when I'm in town. Hopefully I find some others to tour as well. The guy has been responsive, but his emails seem a little broken English. Hopefully it's not a scam. He's not asking for money or anything at least. I did a property search, and the owners are likely Asian, and this guy says he's the owner, except his name is Brian (not what I saw on county records -- maybe a son with American name?)

No, that's kind of par for the course. I Grouponed (apologies to the English language) a deal for a dental cleaning for a one Dr. Hans Alexander Go. I mean, with a name like that I sorta had to, you know? Went to the exam, Lilly white office, receptionist, hygienist.... Then Dr. Hans Alexander Go walks in looking and sounding very much like one of the guests of Rodney Dangerfield in Caddy Shack.

"So I booked this free prostate exam via a flyer tacked on the wall next to a urinal..."
