Azcards?
Waaaay better.
The part where he explains that he can be trusted because he did time for wire fraud is :moneybag:
The entire thing is so preposterously awesome, it can't really be described. The fact that "reputable" CNBC has it on with his known background...well I can't really put it into words.

Back to my rant for a moment, I should say that the principle issue at my wife's school isn't necessarily Common Core...
Egghead school administrators can go screw themselves. I want to go super MOP on these people after blindsiding my wife with a ridiculous review and making her cry. So much wrong with these dufuses with doctorates that have never taught a day in their lives.
It sounds to me like the principle issue...

Back to my rant for a moment, I should say that the principle issue at my wife's school isn't necessarily Common Core, but some kind of Marzano teaching methods that they are implementing. That's nonsense where kindergarten teachers have to post objectives for every lesson that the kids can't even read and constantly ask the kids if they feel like they are getting it or not.

Seriously. Multiple times throughout a lesson teachers have to ask the class if they understand. If they feel like they have it mastered they out up 1 finger, if they feel like they are getting it they put up 2, and if they aren't getting it all all they put up 3.

The dumb thing to me is that kids that age that really don't get it typically don't even know that they don't get it. Having the youngest kids self-evaluate is moronic.
This is all gibberish to me. GLLL

Swaggy Tre?

I'm pretty sure that Darko owned that place, so no.

Man, I've had a lot of drink tonight. Luckily my whole work day tomorrow involves drinking with clients at a PGA tournament so I should be good. Just have to sober up in time for a breakfast speech on Friday at this point.

Would love to get flirty with K4 right now, but I'm going to pass out before it would get good.
Hi bent.

I'm being lauded as a genius at work today for something I did months ago. How do I take advantage of this, assuming that the way I take advantage can't involve getting more money or time out of the office?

Mid flight to Memphis. Hate these tiny tin can airplanes they run down there once a day. Woman next to me practically in my lap is a real B, looks like Tony Sopranos wife and complains about basically everything.
Where are you connecting to? I mean, nobody goes to Memphis as a final destination on purpose do they?
I wish anywhere. No, no, I'm staying here. For TWO nights.
NCAA tourney at the FedEx Forum tonight. Tickets still available I heard.

(11) Dayton vs. (10) Stanford

(1) Florida vs. (4) UCLA

StL Cards playing Memphis Redbirds Friday night.

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young said close to $100,000 in clothing, shoes, jewelry and luggage was stolen from his Los Angeles area home while he was playing in a game at Staples Center.

Young said he returned to his Sherman Oaks house after the Lakers' 103-94 win Sunday over the Orlando Magic to find an upstairs window broken.

"I came in, I seen my drawers and everything open and clothes all over the floor and the glass was broken from the window," Young said after Lakers practice Monday.

"I think they knew that I had a game that day, I think they scoped it out a little bit. Obviously they knew nobody was in the house and they knew we had a game. So, they came at the right time."

The 28-year-old said he called police and checked into a hotel after discovering the robbery.

"I didn't feel safe no more," Young said.

Young said he has homeowners insurance, but there was one item he seemed particularly disappointed to be missing.

"They got me, man," Young said. "They stole my Yeezys, too, man."

Young was referring to the "Red October" Nike Air Yeezy 2 sneakers he wore to a game last week and showed off for TV cameras, telling reporters that they go for as much as $6,000 on the open market. Young, who goes by the self-appointed nickname "Swaggy P," is known for his extravagant outfits and was ranked No. 19 on GQ's list of the 20 most stylish athletes of 2013.

The seven-year veteran has made about $18.4 million in salary during his NBA career, according to BasketballReference.com.

Young said he called police around 2 a.m. and officers did not respond to the scene until between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m.

"I was just happy no one was in the house when they was breaking in," Young said. "It could have made it a lot worse."

Former NBA players Eddy Curry and Antoine Walker weren't so lucky, as they were in their homes when burglars arrived and held them up at gunpoint in separate 2007 incidents.

"I'm just glad that I didn't have to be in that situation, really," Young said. "I don't know what I would have did. I was just shocked they tried to get Swaggy yesterday."

Young said he would take precautions moving forward.

"I'm going to have to get a guard dog or something," Young said with a laugh.

Graceland was awful
There is no reason to go to Graceland unless you're a huge Elvis fan.

Best place to visit in Memphis is Stax Museum. I could go there weekly. Sun Studios is also worth a visit, as is the Gibson guitar factory.
in 1992, I went to a bbq place in a strip mall that was recommended to us by a security guard who stopped my gb and I from breaking into that big glass pyramid building they have down there. After watching my friend and I practically drooling over his food, the guy behind the counter- after asking where we were from and then lovingly (I like to think) ridiculing us for being ######s from NYC and SF- asks if the food is hot enough and if we'd like some house-made hot sauce. My friend chickened out, but I had some. It melted my left eardrum and I've never been actually able to smell anything since... but it was one of my top 4 meals evah.

So... Is that place still there?
The place was near the pyramid? No, I don't think so then.
down a main road from the pyramid... about 5 minutes or so.
Can't think of what it could be, so I don't think it's there.
Cozy Corner BBQ I bet

Get a handy in the break room?
I'm not sure how this would go. The only woman under 60 in my office is the deaf receptionist.

"I SAID JUST RUB THE TIP MORE!"
Would the slurping sounds be obnoxious because she can't hear them?

What kind of woman makes slurping noises during a handy?

Pretty sure the sign language would be pretty easy here.

Touché.

How does she know when to answer the phone?
There's a blinking light. And she has gargantuan hearing aids.

It's fun to leave my door open and listen to her answer the phone. She has to find out who someone is before transferring the person to us, so she asks for a spelling of the name. And can't hear it.

"What was the name? What? Spell that for me? S - N - Five? J? Q? Oh, "I"! P? D? C? B as in bomb? Oh, "T as in Tom!" H. Okay, Snith. Oh, Smith! Hi, Mr. Smith, good to talk to you again."

What happens when you mix an insurance company, a state agency, and education?

A totally F-ed up monster of a health plan that I belong to. I have until Monday to provide them with info on the people (wife and kids) on my plan. Supposedly they sent everyone a notice to do this stuff months ago. Everyone except for me. $20 says they sent the notices to an address I lived at 10 years ago. It's happened before.

You should start tracking all those people down immediately.

TaxAct or Turbo Tax or Other?

Used TaxAct last year but notice a new DAS Fee that is mandatory to pay before continuing. Good chance I'm doing this wrong, though. :bag:

so this billboard is on my way to work.... http://oi61.tinypic.com/2vj8pyg.jpg
Gotta stand for something. "Ending 'House Negro' rule" is at least something.
True. he's running against Steve Cohen, a white guy who is the rep for the 9th district, a predominantly black district.
Steve Cohen is the #1 thing I miss about Memphis. I loved that guy.

I wonder who my rep is here.
but, but , but he's part of this whole "house negro" problem!

:lmao: Pretty amazing.

Remember Cohen's last re-election where his challenger was supposed to give him a real fight? Think he still won like 75% of the vote, after beating a black woman in the primary with about 90%. Crazy how much he is beloved, as a white guy in a black district.

:goodposting: his commercials are horrible though. "Keep on goin' with Cohen, Keep on goin' with Cohen, Keep on goin' with Cohen, Keep on goin' with Cohen....."
