I don't push
I like this 5ish character.
I just can't imagine ordering something sweet and doughy when there are options of eggs, meat and hashbrowns available. Why not just eat cake or cookies for breakfast?GM doesn't think grown men should eat pancakes.

lolololololololWeird, I've done a lot of walks and have never come across a threshold like this. Maybe St. Louis is just ritzier. That's pretty much standard procedure for walks like that K4. I'm guessing the majority of the money will go to help victims family's and stuff. I think it's also a way to weed out slackers and get people that really committed to the cause. The walks that myself and Mrs. SLB have done were the same way.

Yeah- it's not a 5k that takes an hour to get people in and out. Overnight, almost a full day... I'm sure there's a fair bit of overhead. Plus it's a great cause.OK, if this is the case, I get it.They may have other factors involved, such as their permit to stage the event is limited to a certain number of participants and they've judged that that's the most they can charge and still reach that limit. In other words, if they charged less they'd have to turn participants away and they'd leave money on the proverbial table because some of those being turned away had raised more than some who had already been given a spot.Just so i understand.... i donate a little bit of money and pay my entry fee but i don't raise 1000 i can't walk?
How does that make sense... i have to have their predetermined threshold to prove i believe in their cause?
We may be in Detroit then, though there is a chance that I will leave earlier than the rest of the troops. I'll know more once we book our tickets. I also need to confirm our Ducks game in the fall. The FedEx driver broke some ribs and I haven't seen him in over a month. He's my dance partner for ticket trades.Drifter, the cover story in the May issue of Seattle magazine is about five road trips, the fifth of which is a Seattle to San Diego family-truckster vacation. You might wish to check it out!
Speaking of the Driftwold vacation, when do you get back? It looks like an ideal date for our snout-to-tail dinner would be July 12. Would this date work for the Seattle contingent, GM, Da, or anyone else who might come?

Also, on top of this awesome Pig-to-Snout hole, I'd love to organize a trip to Emerald Downs for some horse racing. 100%Komen is just a business, imo.Have a few family members who do the Komen walk every year and I think the minimum they have to get in donations is $2.5k. Pretty crazy amount of money but I guess if they didn't set minimum thresholds people wouldn't be as determined to go out and raise money.
I had EIGHT pieces of bacon with my FIVE griddle patties.Have some eggs and meat like a man.Did you miss the previous 30-page discussion of pancakes in this very thread? GM believes they are just for kids and real men never order them.Am I the only one who doesnt like pancakes?

She was a fat troll like looking beast that probably didn't graduate from grade school. I probably only have 3 lives left at the most too so best she didn't hit me. I could really use an extended vacation though.Hmm....that's an excellent point. Hadn't considered that. The parking space? It was after all a woman driving. Are we positive she was aiming for the squirrel? The squirrel was stationary and in a parking spot on the side of the road. She slowed down, drove into the parking space where the squirrel was, running him over, than swerved back into the lane.Stupid whore.
Maybe she missed her real target.
Given that, can we safely deduce that the driver was on her period, tweeting a selfie(#duckLips!), while talking on the phone about shoes, tried to park, hit the squirrel, got hysterical and fled the scene?
grown men give the pancakes to any children in the area and stuff their face with more meat.WHAT IF YOU HAD MEAT AND PANCAKES? WHAT THEN?
Fax sent.If any of you know a good corporate writer in Austin looking for a gig, I am suddenly in need of a senior writer.
Too lazy to do. ascii art on phone....places like that...There are some places that crepes, FOR LUNCH!!! They don't even put syrup on them or serve them with eggs & hash browned potatoes!!!
Yeah, that's kind of a big difference.Yeah- it's not a 5k that takes an hour to get people in and out. Overnight, almost a full day... I'm sure there's a fair bit of overhead. fwiw- I did a couple of Tris with Team in Training, one of which I had to raise 2500 (granted, it was in another state and our race-entry, meals, air-fare and hotel were paid for by signing up)
Plate of Puerto Rican or Dominican rice and black beans with eggs is my go-to. One of the local places has a mango shake thing that makes the world sing. they also have a guy who is there every time I've ever been there (night or day) who orders the same basic thing (plus a protein of some kind) and uses- I #### you not- an entire 32oz container of ketchup on it. We call him K-man.Pancakes and sausage is one of the all time best hangover breakfasts right after chicken friend steak and eggs and a smothered breakfast burrito.
Well, not looking so good anyway if Drifter and roverfish aren't around. We may be in Detroit then, though there is a chance that I will leave earlier than the rest of the troops. Yup, I'm with this guy. I've seen Trombone Shorty twice. Better than Pearl Jam.Any Seattle folks care to check out any of the Zoo concerts this summer? Tickets go on sale to members on Wednesday. All around $30 but I think you need to pay zoo admission as well if you're not a member. I'm happy to pick up extras if anyone wants to go to any.
Shows I'm eyeing are:
August 6 - Taj Majal Trio/John Hiatt & The Combo
August 17 - Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue / Galactic
August 24 - Ziggy Marley![]()
Yeah, I did Team in Training once to try and get in the pants of a girl after my divorce. Got my company to donate the money as there was no way I was going to hit up people for money. Galactic is ok - they're more a classic fusion-with-funk outfit.
