Heard that this morning. Guess it's warmer at 38,000 feet than I realized. Also, oxygen. WTH, right?

The Chronicle adds that "pilot and aviation consultant John Nance said the incident is 'one of three things — a hoax, a miracle or we're going to have to rewrite the textbooks if he actually did what he says he did. He needs to be studied very carefully by medical science because this is not supposed to be possible.' "

WTF?

The temperature at 38,000 feet would be -50 to -80 F. You can't breath unassisted above 18,000 in an un-pressurized space.

Well, at least those were things we used to believe, amiright?

Why do you need to see a cardiologist? What do you mean "probably", they didn't rule everything out with an EKG, etc?

Why do you need to see a cardiologist? What do you mean "probably", they didn't rule everything out with an EKG, etc?

ER doc said I was showing "atypical symptoms" and it's probably a pulled muscle, but I should go see a cardiologist and get a stress test run to make sure.

It's my wife and my anniversary today. I worked from home so I could take her to a doctor appointment in the afternoon, and my mom came down to watch the kids. She was feeling okay and on the way to the appointment we were actually talking about going out to dinner. But by the time we were there she had a full blown tear-inducing headache. Maybe it was the car ride with me.

So we stopped by the store on the way home and I bought a couple 2" bone-in ribeyes. Threw them on the grill, went inside for a few minutes, came back out and the grill was billowing black smoke. I opened the grill to a huge ball of flame, burnt some arm hair, the entire grill was on fire including the grease-catch pan underneath. Outside of steaks were close to scorched but not quite. I turned off all the burners and let everything calm down, then put the steaks on indirect heat for a few minutes.

Best ####ing steaks I've ever made.

I got out of bed for the first time in six days today. Some wacky novovirus mutant offshoot ####ed me up good. Saw my doctor and he was like, "BL - your gut is your Achilles. Go home and sweat it out. There's no antibiotic, come back in two weeks and we'll do a full blood workup and stress test." Five minutes of poking around and listening to my stomach gurgle. "You're not dying. You don't have lupus. Get out of here and come back when you're not sick."

Board certified John Hopkins is basically a license to be god.

No idea. Maybe a virus? I looked all over the innernets and I want to have my retinas burned out for what I've seen trying to self diagnose but nothing. My stupid penis is always getting me in trouble. <_<
