Charter bus. And "worthwhile" doesn't really have anything to do with it since it is part of my job.Abraham said:So you guys are riding on a bus for 6 hours today? Like a school bus? Id need a blow job from Snow White to make that worthwhile.

My sister just posted this about her daughter - many of you generously donated to a benefit for her a couple of years back, and I haven't provided a lot of updates since.
It is with a hevay heart and great sadness that I have to write this today. Over the last couple of months Brian, Lisa and I along with Cathy's doctor have had numerous discussions about if/when to stop Cathy's treatments. During this time we also read her living will and it was very clear she would not want to live this way. Still we were just not ready to let her go. In the past few weeks her quality of life has been declining and continues to do so. Which means the toll it is taking on Brian and the girls is increasing. This past week Brian, Lisa and I decided it was time. Time to stop the treatments. Time to let Cathy go. Even the doctor has no idea with stopping the treatments what comes next or how long we will have her so the future is very unclear. Hospice will be taking over now with her medical needs to keep her comfortable and anything else she needs. Will keep you posted as things change.
If you are having family get togethers this holiday weekend treasure every person there and let them know how special they are in your life because you just never know when it may be the last time you get this chance.

No. It falls under "related duties". It comes with the territory. And, in all honesty, the Disneyland trip isn't that bad. It just isn't "fun".Do you get extra pay for longer days or field trips? It used to be worse. We used to do an overnight trip to Catalina. Leave town at 6AM on a Thurs and get back at 9PM on Fri. It was brutal.

We did for the overnight but not this trip. Which is something I think we need to bring up at the next union meeting. Yeah. On the plus side we are allowed to wander out to Downtown Disney where there is booze. That's why I asked. I get that the trip is neither "fun" nor "bad" but making you pay for your own expensive food sucks.

Detroit used to be referred to as the Paris of the west. Actually true. Then finger banging?Yeah. I may or may not have enjoyed a couple of icy cold session beers at this place. Happy hour prices and free chips and salsa. F-You, Mickey.

Been agitating for this for a long time.A massive Vegas cornhole would be pretty epic. We really might break the Web.

Filling up water balloons and drinking beer. Pretty righteous.
/ArthurcarlsonI'm sitting on the bench at the end of the path® letting the dog roam and he almost caught a turkey. They most certainly can fly but not well. He barely got away.
