I like it but like the Black Keys I feel I'm listening to variations on a theme.

I like jack white, but I feel like he's the Tarantino of rock music. He takes other peoples stuff and blends it to make it his almost to the point of satire.

That part doesn't bother me - musicians have been doing that forever. What bugs me is when he gets on his podium to talk about how unoriginal everyone ELSE is.

Jesus, DC is in the running for the 2024 Olympics. Are they insane? 2 a.m.-Tuesday-in-February traffic is awful - what the hell do they think it's going to be like with an Olympics in town? I realize that events are spread out, but still. A friend who lived in Atlanta when they had the Games there rented his place out for two weeks at $6,000/wk and high-tailed it to Mexico. I'm 100 miles west of DC, but I may do the same.
