I haven't met her in this context. She's a nurse, and she was one of the nurses for a friend's daughter after a skiing accident put her in ICU a couple years ago. I remember meeting her while visiting over the three weeks my friend's daughter was in the hospital, but this is just a random online thing. So yes.

There are also two other prospects: (1) another nurse, online thing (10 texts total, meeting at a driving range that serves cocktails on Saturday); (2) actual real life person I met through a networking event and asked out. 2 texts, one phone call.

Should be entertaining enough to get me to my trial date.

Despite us not really being the target demographic we both really thought Lionel Richie put on one of the best shows of the weekend. Just so talented at entertaining a crowd.

Elton John was really great closing everything out last night. Jack White was solid for a headliner spot. On the flipside Kanye West was pretty awful. Can't imagine he'll ever be asked to return.

Such a cool place though. Going to unfortunately need at least a day or two of sobriety to feel human again.

I had been pouring at a huge wine tasting at Soldier Field a night or two before we left, and the people in charge of the event let me take home dozens of bottles of wine that had been opened but not finished. OK, maybe we should have checked and found out before arriving that glass bottles were not allowed. Being proper drunks, we poured out the cases of bottled water we brought and meticulously poured all the wine into the plastic water bottles while the cops watched.
