GM's thread about nothing (30 Viewers)

#### cancer. Five years wasn't long enough with my dog.
Oof, sorry Henry.
Thanks. At least she got a few years with us. Old family tried to put her down because they were moving. Vet took their money and gave them ashes from his grill and found a shelter.
Really sorry about your pooch, sir. Hate hearing stuff like that. At least she had five good years with you, since it sounds like her former owners weren't that concerned about her well-being. (Awesome vet though) Still a drag, no matter what.

Having said that....

GD this thread! It's either all hating on avocados or pets slipping loose the mortal coil.

Could everyone do me a solid? Stop letting your pets die. Every time another one passes, that bumps mine one slot up in the queue. I keep telling him he's immortal, but I know it's a lie to make myself feel better. :( (You're going to live to be 100, dude. Don't listen to what's going on in this thread.)

Don't even remotely want to think about "the drive" with my knucklehead. As a matter of fact, I think I'm going to go have a drink before work to not think about it.

It's our 19th (bronze) wedding anniversary next week. Save it Tanner. Anyhow, I found a cool bronze statue on Etsy made by an artist from the 1800's and I purchased it. It then occurred to me that I don't know **** about this sort of thing and I really should have researched it. So I spent the last hour scouring the Internet to find out that's it's a fake. I hate people.
Any way to void the purchase?
She sent me a snarky e-mail last night.

Just because you have found other artists who copy Mene's work does not make his work any less authentic. But, on second thought I doubt you will ever be happy with my piece as you already distrust it without seeing it so I am canceling the order as you requested.

Hit the olive bar up today but they didn't have any blacks. Typical for this area I guess.
No fights?
Only with my kids. Bastards.

:hifive:

We got 'Jake from State Farm', the weiner dog the exact same way. He'd be a great dog if he'd stop pissing on my bed...

lolz
He came home as Jake. My 3 year old added the State Farm. It stuck. :)

Sorry for your loss, Henry.

Summer camp ended last week, and school doesn't start until the week after next. So, when my daughter saw a week-long summer camp at the Humae Society, it was a perfect fit. She loves animals and got really excited about the prospect. Yesterday was the first day, and each of the kids got to go through the shelter and pick one animal to become their shelter buddy. Among other things, they're going to spend the week creating posters and trying to come up with other ideas to get their shelter buddies adopted. So when you're ready to adopt your dog, GM, you should really drive down here to get one. :selfish:

:lmao: :lmao: :finger: Thanks to the Beerhole guys for not bringing this up. Pretty sure she was wearing those earrings the entire time. SEE??!!! I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING!
:lmao: I asked her where she got them. She said she wasn't sure. OH SNAP!!
Oh bull####. :lmao: Of course I may have no recollection of what jewelry she was wearing.
Yeah, I'm full of it.

We already have Gassius Clay, the farting boxer. They probably wouldn't let us take this dog if we wanted, 'cause boxer #####es are like human #####es. They need all the attention for themselves and don't want to be in the presense of other #####es any longer than they have to be.

Khakis and a State Farm golf shirt = Romo's work attire when he's deployed. My coworkers call him "Jake from State Farm" as well.

Nearing the end of the True Detective thread, and it's gone from amusingly bad to frustratingly bad. Some of the complaints are just........what? Nothing like a tv thread to point out the dummies.

If he plays his cards right he could get transferred here. I've met a lot of people from different parts of the country who end up in God's Country.

Any thoughts on Homeland? I'm 27 minutes into Episode 1. Seems interesting. It helps that I could jerk off to Morena Baccarin reading the phone book.
Season 1 is pretty great but Claire Danes character can get annoying.
She's terrible. And that show went from "pretty damn good" to "freaking horrible".
:goodposting:

Homeland, for me at least, went from 100 to needs a laugh-track towards the end of season 1. It's laugh-out-loud eye-rollers from there on. And yet... I kept watching.
