In one week I return home from Japan.

In two weeks I move my wife and two daughters out of our house and into my parents' house. My wife and I will sleep in the same room that was mine while I was in high school.

Two days later, I will leave them all for Korea.

A week after that I will return home to said parents' house.

About a week later we close on our new house.

About two or three weeks after that, hopefully, the painters and floor guys will be done, and we will get the pleasure of moving again, this time out of my parents' house and into our new house.

I wish I had a fast forward button.

We move into the new place on Aug. 15. Really hoping my marriage makes it until then.

Are you also staying with family in the interim? Is it terrible?

I've spent my last 3 weekends boxing fine china. :slowdeath:

No. But my mother in law is about to come to town for a week to help prepare which is also terrible.

Calories in, calories out. You can eat as much crap as you want, drink as much pop as you want, up to XXX calories. Adjust XXX for desired body weight. I was trying to put Oats onto an all Twinkie diet, but you guys all got in the way.

While we're airing grievances, I'm not sure I have any idea who DrJ is; my first encounter with him in which I notice him is in the last couple of days, where he's spewing vitriol at people in the pot smoking thread for saying they don't smoke pot because they are afraid of the consequences in their jobs. He thinks we are a bunch of sissies for that. Ok I guess, but I think he posted like 73 posts in a row with that view and had to stoop to the name calling stuff. Just was weird. I figured he was a new poster but apparently not.

Every now and then some poster who I never really noticed comes out of nowhere with a shtick that makes me do a double take.

The furley vs. krista bit is weird.

I'm in Japan.

I gave you excellent diet advice (okay, that's debatable), I told you to buy an Odyssey. It's not my fault that you choose the dumbest crap ever to register on your radar.

Big Odyssey fan. Mrs. O still won't allow it; she's not prepared for minivan status. We're splitting the difference and going with a Pilot, which prices out about the same. And buy the time we get one I think it will have all the latest gadgets.

We were looking at Pilots and Highlanders and ended up going with an Explorer (thanks in part to a very nice and thorough PM from Bob Sacamano). It's got the roominess of the Pilot but we thought it drove much better.

Good info.I got my piece of PVC at Home Depot, but I didn't like the fan situation there so I kept walking. Still need to get a cooler too.

Also saw that Home Depot had a bucket version of this for $100, lol.

Watching some "Drunk History" tonight. As someone who loves history and is frequently hammered, this show sucks.

I'm also hammered again. I was going to take the night off. But, my neighbor Joel, who lost his wife a couple years ago, is having a difficult time about it again. Tonight's discussion involved a lot of crying. And I'm pretty sure that this latest round comes from the fact that we're moving in a couple weeks and he doesn't really have anyone else close by to talk to about it when the emotional moments come. So, I kinda feel like a #### for moving right now.
