My drunk neighbor and I are going to the liquor store tonight to restock the home bar as a birthday/housewarming gift. Everyone should have friends like this.

 
Just made an offer on a waterfront house. Moving again would suck, but luckily we still don't have much stuff after the Great Purge of 2013, and both Mr. krista and I think it's worth it. We could watch bald eagles and seals from our windows, and Mr. krista could walk out the door, throw a few crab pots down, gather some clams and oysters, and WA-LA, dinner.

Sigh. Hope it works out.

Our neighbor lady died. Don't be sad, she was 91 years old. But she was the last original resident on our court, which I think had most of the houses on it built in 1955 (yeah BTTF!).

She was ####### hilarious and sharp, and not in the way that nice people say about older people who still have their #### somewhat together, she was positively Ricklesian sometimes. She'd insult me occasionally and it was great.

When we moved in, she mistakenly mistook me for the gardener (think I posted that here before) and asked me to come over and trim her vines. Which I did. Her daughter was horrified, but I just thought it was funny to roll with it. And it was a nice thing to do anyway.

Oh, and a cougar was seen on the golf cart path at the Port Ludlow golf course yesterday. Luckily, I don't golf, so I guess I'm safe. :thumbup:

Tying it all together, living around old people is kind of great. They're quiet and they're good neighbors, and they generally keep their #### in order. I'd definitely move to this graveyard that you're apparently considering a house in.

fish, if/when we move there, you should boat up to the house. There's a marina about 100 feet down from us and it would be a lovely trip. :)

Port Ludlow is actually very nice. Similar feel to Bainbridge.

The only way my boat is going there is if I trailer it up and drop it in there. That's a long way for an 18' boat.

Had to drop my car off today so she drove her car to pick me up. Evidently I was driving too slow for her and she blew past me (it was a 35 minute drive). So I get there and she's not there. She calls me yelling "WHERE ARE YOU?" I calmly tell her I'm at the shop. She starts ranting that she doesn't know where this place is and why didn't I catch up to her, that she saw a black SUV close to her and assumed it was me.

Seriously? You are yelling at me because you flew past me even though you didn't know where you were going? Is that smart? No, No it is not......Well I'm sorry for driving so slowly. :loco:

Season 3 of Homeland is a real slog. Would have bailed on it if not for the fact that it is PRChick's favorite show. Need to study up for our lunch date next week.
