Based upon a few unpleasant experiences, gin just doesn't mix with other alcohols. I mean, you're not supposed to do much mixing anyway, but some are more forgiving than others and gin is one jealous ##### that doesn't like to share.

So we had a staff meeting at my joint last week and one of the biggest things was that we can't drink behind the bar anymore. Sure, we can still do shots with people and stuff, but no more pouring yourself giant cocktails all night long (ahem PJ) or pounding beers every ten minutes (ahem also PJ).
Long story short, we were all threatened with being fired less than a week ago, and 4 out of the 5 bartenders tonight were completely sh#thammered by last call.
Meanwhile we all had a blast, made some good money, and absolutely killed behind the bar. Honestly, the best bars are always the ones where the bartenders are drinking along with everyone else.
