ok- this morning in the elevator up to my office, I start chit-chatting with an older fella about riding citi-bikes (bike sharing here in NYC). tells me he's twenty years past doing that, which of course elicits the expected "no, no- you look great" comments from me.

him- no, really- I've gotta be at least twenty years older than you

me- what -shocked- you're in your 90s?!

him- huh... I mean, you're in your 50s right? I'm in my 70s- I can't do it.

I'm 46. FORTY SIX.

so I punched him in his fat, stupid geriatric yaw, knocking him over and breaking his stupid old hip.

I used to read his posts 3 or 4 times and come up empty. Now I give it one shot and if it doesn't compute, I move on. Reads like a poor man's wikkid pissa.

Not really a highlight imo.

Just trying to imagine that scenario made me laugh. I know someone annoys me, so I take advantage of the ignore function. Then, when they post in a thread I am passionate about, I don't read the post from the annoying person, but I do quote the "you have chosen to ignore" message, and I add that I assume they are still being a moron, just to really stick it to them. Simple things for simple minds, I guess.

As it stands now.... The Pats will get away with yet another shady violation and if they win the Super Bowl, it will all be worth it again and won't stop them from cheating again in the future.
