Good thought for teams heading to the playoffs in dynasty or keepers l (1 Viewer)

Tiki owners in Keeper and Dynasty leagues can be taken advantage of. I am offering Matt Leinart and a 3rd round draft pick for 2007 for Tiki and his 5th round draft pick for 2007. This is a ridiculous trade for me and I wanted to share the thoughts with you guys to see if you can snag Tiki and grab an upper hand heading into the playoffs for 2006.

With the following schedule, I wouldn't be spending too much to target him for this years' playoff:

wk 14: @ Carolina

wk 15: Eagles

wk 16: Saints

If you want to give up your future QB (Leinart) for a one year shot, go for it. I would only do this IF I believed Tiki was the missing link to a championship this year, and I felt somewhat comfortable with the other QB's on my team.

it just so happens that I can only keep one qb and I already have Peyton. This trade works out very well for me.

I would think in most dynasty formats that is a pretty steep price to pay for being able to plug Tiki in for the playoffs and then have him retire. Thanks but No Thanks for your dynasty helpful hints...

The Keeper leagues I play in are all 2-3 man keepers, regardless of position. No way I would ever keep Matt Leinart going to next year in any scenario I can think of...unless my team is terrible...in which case I wouldn't be looking at this year's playoffs.

It's good advice in that situation, which I wouldn't think is all that uncommon.
