Greatest Video Game Draft 2011 (2 Viewers)

This next game I missed out on much of the hype because my college days were spent playing Mario Kart 64, Ocarnia of Time, and Mario Golf. That said, the Game Cube did not have much and Mario Kart Double Dash is nothing to brag about because that game sucked. However, the Game Cube did have the following game. Four player mode was awesome and its predecessor has it as well. Before some party games, there was this game. A great cast of characters that were familiar to most as well. I give you:

Mario Kart

Arcade(1) Dragon's Lair (5.12)

Arcade(2) Gauntlet (6.02)

Third Generation (1983-1990) Phantasy Star - Sega MS (8.02)

Which color Pokemon? The originals are considered the same.
lol can the judge deduct points from his score because they like red better than blue/yellow and he picked blue?that would be awesome...
I'll go with Yellow, which would be Game Boy Color. Never played the Red/Blue versions, only saw other people playing it. I think it was one of the first Game Boy Color games to come out, and could've actually been the same game as Red/Blue, but with some new features?

Thanks for jumping in and doing this pollardsvision. You had a bunch of pick that are great value for this late. I really like the Nathan Uncharted 2/MikeTyson/SonicTheHedgehog.
No problem. I've been watching the thread and this gave me the chance to jump into the draft with a built-in excuse when I get slaughtered.

10.5 Dracula (Castlevania Series), Villain

Dracula, whose full name is Dracula Vlad Tepes is based on Bram Stoker's character in the novel of the same name. Dracula is a staple of the Castlevania series and has been the main villain in all games with the exception of one and its direct sequel

Forms of Dracula -

By the way, do spoiler tags even work? How often do you look at a spoiler and say "oh, that might spoil something, better not read it". Or do you look at it anyway hoping it will be something good underneath? I know they technically work to hide the text. That's not the question.

NERD :2cents:
 Hey, it was a fun game. I never collected the cards, watched the cartoon, or bought the toys though.
I refuse to believe those games are any good. Just the thought of walking into my local video game store and seeing 25 Asian kids playing this game with cards has be giggling
You know, I've never played a Pokemon game for than 5 minutes before. I have all of them available to me if I ever decide to give them another shot, but I just never saw the appeal. Maybe I'm afraid I'll be sucked in and never come back. Kind of the same reason I quit WoW after 2 months.

It plays like any RPG of the early NES era. Only exception is that you are capturing creatures and training their abilities instead of your own.

It came out at the end of the original Gameboy's cycle, just before Gameboy color released, and I was more into PC gaming and mostly sports gaming then during that time. (I was in college at the time. I had other things on my mind other than playing Gameboy) I never really went back to play a lot of the games in the Gameboy Color era until the last several years. Pokemon just wasn't something I cared to try, and when I did, I admit I was like "What the hell am I doing? I don't want to play this." I'm sure if I went back to play it, I'd like it. That's why I have them all available to me. But I just haven't the time.

Oh I agree. I got a GB Advance but never actually played the games unless it was to kill time. Never played the Pokemon games all the way through. Got too boring for me. They just have a style similar to the old RPGs.

Does Wazoo get skipped again since he timed out last round?

I see him here - I'll wait before I pick.

Superman on Commodore 64. Yeah, that game was a pile of crap. OH, you mean N64. Yeah, I know what you mean. Here, I'll let the Angry Video Game Nerd do the talking.
NSFW language as normal for the AVGN (wait for it. He really does review the N64 game)Yeah, this was my #1 worst game. Horrible.

Note to mod: If any of these links I put in for the games are against the rules or offend people, please just edit them out. I'm not trying to break any rules here.

Literally 5 of my friends and I rented this game separately on its release date. The next day at school when we usually gloat about the awesome game we played, we all said how much it sucked at the time. :bag:

I don't think anyone would get too upset if you amended your pick to the one you actually intended.
Absolutely. Especially after all the work you have put it. Pick what you want

This is the one I was eluding to. I knew it was your favorite one. I didn't want to say the name. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything.

I believe SSBM is a great game and is awesome value when the top fighters are already gone.
