good call.I think it's the Arizona Cardinals D.

Yes, but they could line him up on the outside or run more plays with the slot WR in there. He's doing so much with so little to only play have the game IMO.he's a slot player - he's only on the field half the time.Andrew Hawkins! Just give the man more targets.
Agreed he's a better back but the NYJ offense is so dismal, I don't see the numbers stacking up for Powell if named a starter. If and when the jets wake up and realize Greene is useless, Powell has a chance to b that WW darling
Ryan Williams will be the ONE.

No. But in every league I'm in (redraft, keeper, and a dynasty), he wasn't drafted. In all but one league he was grabbed off the wire before the season started. In the one league he wasn't picked up before the season, all transactions are blocked after the draft and until the first week blind bids. I think he counts as a waiver wire gem.'duaneok66 said:Morris was on the wire after the season started??
What round was he drafted in your league? Anyways - what about Ryan Williams? He has a real shot with Beanie being down.Ogletree could be another name to consider.'thetman said:If Morris was a free agent, your league need more teams or you play with idiots or both.

Wrong. You havent even seen them play together once since Bradshaw came back. Clown.andre brown isnt a WW darling. he only would be if bradshaw didnt play the rest of the year. he wont do anything the rest of the year unless bradshaw is out. hawkins should be a much better value in the coming weeks. they will figure out how to get him invloved more and he should be the one i think.
sorry my league drafted everybody you named so please stop you can't have any of those as WAIVER WIRE darlings my league drafted them nanny nanny boo booPlease stop with the Ryan Williams stuff. He was drafted in most leagues. We are looking for the WAIVER WIRE DARLING.

Nope. Story out of NY that Bradshaw has a bulging disc that is pressing on his spinal cord. This ain't no sit down for 1 week and feel better thing for Bradshaw. He's been in platoons with Jacobs before and A Brown showed enough that Bradshaw will be platooning with him the rest of the way even if he is fully healed. Don't be surprised to see Bradshaw shut down for the season at some point, though, as the bulging disc thing doesn't self resolve easily.andre brown isnt a WW darling. he only would be if bradshaw didnt play the rest of the year. he wont do anything the rest of the year unless bradshaw is out.
Could be right here. This kid has been wildly impressive.hawkins should be a much better value in the coming weeks. they will figure out how to get him invloved more and he should be the one i think.
Except for the guy who picked up Spiller off of waivers in week 1 a few posts up. Is that a 4 team league or is this guy in a league with co-workers in India who don't watch the NFL?No doubt.. Can we stop with the bickering of a guy was or wasn't drafted in all YOUR leagues. Not All Leagues play the same # of teams or have that same type Lineups or Scoring. There's always going to be guys at the end of rosters that weren't on other leagues.Just plug the guy you like that wasn't on YOUR leagues an leave the rest alone, it maynot always be helpful for YOU but it certainly could be for Someone Else's teams though.

Or as a boxer. Doh!Jon Baldwin. He doesn't get the credit he deserves as a "SLEEPER"
Brandon Stokely posted a 1077 yards and 10 TDs playing in the slot as the WR3 with Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne as team mates.he's a slot player - he's only on the field half the time.Andrew Hawkins! Just give the man more targets.
LeShoure, Williams, and Morris all should qualify, in someones FF leagues. In fact at least 1 of those guy's were available in all (7) of the leagues I am in. Most leagues I'm in don't have 5 "extra" bench spots, 2 are 2 QB leagues, and 1 league DEF scores a lot so many teams have extra D, there way to many factors inOTHER league types to suggest in "competent" leagues these guys weren't available..I don't think he's been found yet. I'm sorry but LeShoure, Williams, and Morris don't qualify. These guys were all drafted in competitive leagues. They may have been cut by an owner at some point but we are talking about someone who nobody owned prior to the season, like Victor Cruz last season.
I think so. I regret not picking him up this week.Could Ramses Barden enter the mix with Nicks coming back who knows when?
Possibly even the Seattle Seahawks D/ST.'duaneok66 said:good call.'Stompin said:I think it's the Arizona Cardinals D.

Both of those Defenses have been surprisingly good and were probably undrafted (SEA was drafted in my 10 teamer) but can we consider a defense the waiver wire pickup of the year? I'm not convinced a DEF can be a difference maker over the course of the whole season...not every game is going to turn out like the Packers on Mon. night.Possibly even the Seattle Seahawks D/ST.'duaneok66 said:good call.'Stompin said:I think it's the Arizona Cardinals D.
Its scary how a guy is so worried about losing his starting job in the NFL that he is willing to play football with a bulging disc pressing on his spinal cord.Nope. Thanks Doctor. Errrr, can I take a peek at the MRI please. Pretty much every human being has a bulging disc and/or degenerative disc disease to some degree. If, Where, and How much that bulge is pushing on the nerve roots is what we need to know to determine if he may or may not miss any more time. Oh yeah, his pain tolerance could be an important factor as well, although some people with bulging discs don't feel any pain, but that goes back to the nerve root comment above.Nope. Some people here just can't grasp a simple concept. Waiver Wire darling is someone who went virtually undrafted in ALL leagues no matter the size (unless you're talking about deep 20+ team leagues) and/or began the season on the Waiver Wire in all leagues (for all you people who are calling Alfred Morris a Waiver Wire darling because you held your draft in June). It amazes me that people don't see the difference between Brandon Lloyd/Victor Cruz and Alfred Morris/Mikel Leshoure. If you're in a small league with shallow benches, don't even come an write in this thread unless you get the point. Your thoughts are useless. I'm still waiting for someone in a 6-team league to come here and say Torrey Smith.
The same people who think Morris and Leshoure qualify as WW darlings were saying Cam Newton last year.
The same people who think Morris and Leshoure qualify as WW darlings were saying Cam Newton last year. That team that loves to run finished 32nd in the league last year in rushing yards.Andre Brown- huge upside on a team that loves to run and has a brittle starter, an underachieving rookie and a coach that doesnt like fumbling.
LOL. you don't get it either, apparently. Cam Newton absolutely was one last year. Why don't you just say, "has to be less than 5% owned on Yahoo at the start of the season to qualify." Give an objective measure. Some people here just can't grasp a simple concept. How valuable a great DST is depends a lot on your league scoring. There are major discrepancies in how DST's are scored, obviously. If your league awards a lot of points for low yardage allowed and low points allowed, than defenses can be huge difference makers.Although it often makes sense to "wait" on defenses during the draft because they change in value so much year-to-year, once it becomes clear which the dominant DST's are, they are very valuable in lots of leagues. I think the Cardinals DST will end up as one of, if not the, waiver wire pickup of the year. They haven't even reached their "ceiling" yet, either, since they have a great returner in Patrick Peterson but he has yet to score and their schedule gets easier from here on out. VBD assessments work a little differently for defenses, too, because lots of owners will keep starting underperforming "good" defenses that are actually performing below the baseline levels. This rarely happens at other positions. Both of those Defenses have been surprisingly good and were probably undrafted (SEA was drafted in my 10 teamer) but can we consider a defense the waiver wire pickup of the year? That might be YOUR definition.. (But not Everyone else)These threads are not just for a select few who "believe" they are in the BEST leagues possible, it is for the whole community, an many can benefit from them.WW wonder for me are the guys that were drafted on "Some" teams at the very end of there drafts or not drafted at all in quite a few leagues, it does not Have to be a guythat was "guaranteed" not to be drafted by Anyone in Any Leagues across the boards.(but players that were available in "quite a number" of leagues and not drafted there) ------------Jerome Simpson might be a candidate, probably not drafted in many leagues, an may break out with the way Ponder has been playing an the surrounding supporting offense.(for that matter Ponder himself if he continues to improve and adding Jerome Simpson). Some people here just can't grasp a simple concept.
